Q: What is the game about?
A: The world is on the brink of destruction, monsters and demons from an alternate dimension called the "Counterside" have brought the world to its knees. You are the only one who knows the true meaning behind all of this and you are earths last best hope for a savior. Together with a group of sexy characters nicknamed "Counters" and regular soldiers and even sentient Mechs you take on the job of preserving what is left of the earth before judgement day. This plays out through combat where you deploy characters with resource points and they attempt to get to the enemy and destroy them while the enemy will also be doing the same to you. There is real time pvp and there are also numerous VN style events with colorful characters and an interesting story filled with mystery, action and even some tears but first and foremost fun. This game will not bore you there is always something to do.

Q: Why should I play this game?
A:

1. The main character self insert is not the typical meek player that gets dragged along with little personality or self determination. You are a key player in the universe of Counterside, everyone knows you and your enemies fear you. You are the heart and humor of the story. You will never find another main character like this in another gacha.
2. No Chibi's only fully sized sprites with beautiful spell effects.
3. The story is one of the best gacha has to offer, skipping is not suggested for first time players.

6. F2P friendly with generous rewards and short daily playtime required. However if you wish you can spend a lot of time in real time pvp. Casuals and whales are both serviced.
7. You can marry your favorite characters with f2p materials and it changes the voice and interactions of the characters towards you and some have wedding dresses as well (Paid skins).
8. Character designs are varied from sexy girls of all ages and sizes and gruff soldiers all the way to mechanized artillery and walking Mecha. NO CENSORSHIP ON ANY SERVER.
9. The global server is self published, no third party companies that don't have the games best interest at heart.

A: No, it is very lewd, don't play it in front of your grandma.

Q: What voice options are there?
A: Korean and Japanese dub are available. New units don't come with Japanese dub unfortunately.

Q: What are rearms, which one is good?
A: Do you remember Ragnarok Online where at max level you could rebirth your character and make it more powerful? Well, something like that but for certain units. You shouldn't be looking at them yet. they're expensive for new players and overshadowed by Awakened units, but:

1. Chinatsu is a good start. A Healer used everywhere.
2. Kaci and Alex are good Tanks.
3. Laura is a debuffer.

Q: What are reactors, which one is good?
A: A new attempt to try to buff characters without the need to do a whole new unit like with rearms. Be aware that each ban an unit receives in PvP reduces their Reactor level by 1, deactivating all of them. (Ministra is the only exception with a level 2 reactor, for now)

• Ecclesia: from jobber to the most reliable tank
• Lee Jisoo from an useless ASSR unit that was given for free at launch to one of the most powerful units in PvP. -75% CDR to enemies and a self HoT.
• Jaina Kropel +100% ASPD and x2 Fury Count.
• Yoo Mina When HP drops to 1%, uses her Special Skill regardless of cooldown and becomes immortal until she receives 10 hits.
• Hilde While on the field grants a non-cancellable shield of 8% Max HP to every allied unit once.
• Ministra Increases her damage and debuffs.
• Joo Shiyoon Increases his damage.
• Na Yubin +35% HP and halves the requirement of the activation of his passive.

A: You only need to be mindful of these currencies:

Q: How banners and pulls work?
A: There are 3 kinds of banners,

1. The Normal Recruitment Banner, with a SSR rated up Unit.
2. The Classified Recruitment Banner, with an ASSR rated up Unit.
3. The Operator Recruitment Banner, with a SSR rated up Operator.

You can do a x1 or x10 pull in any banner but there is no extra reward for doing a x10 and if you get the rated up unit your pity resets to 0 regardless of the order in which you got the unit, potentially losing a pity and tickets of up to 9.
When you do a pull in the Normal banner there is a chance to get any SSR unit from a global list. You don't lose your pity unless you get the rated up unit or the banner expires, and each banner has its own Pity. So it is advisable to pull only when you have at least 150 Blue Tickets.
The Classified banner works similarly but there is no other ASSR in the same banner and each pull cost 20 tickets instead of 1. If there is more than one Classified banner at the time all of them share the same pity, and when the banner ends the remaining pity is transferred to the next one.
The Operator banner works exactly the same as the normal banner, but for Operators only.

Q: I've saved enough PP to buy my first Operator, which one do I get?
A: Operators are expensive because for most of them you need 7 extra copies to max their abilities AND the side skill they come with is random. So good options to start with are:

• Kim Hana [Ranger - Supporter] Restores 1 DP when triggered, adds sleep immunity and gives 6% CDR to all your units in the field. At level 8 you get 20% CDR.
• Sysop [Striker - Defender - Supporter] Restores 0.6 DP when triggered, and gives Role ADV DMG INC +15%. At level 8 is 2 DP and +50% (0.2 and +5% per level)
• Sigma [Defender - Striker - Ranger] Gives a non-cancelable barrier of 6% of Max HP to all your units in the field for 10 seconds and gives Role ADV DMG INC +15%. At level 8 is 20% Max HP and +50% (+2% and +5% per level)
• Vivian, Sasha and Merlin are currently the most damage increasing operators for Snipers (and Strikers), Rangers and Defenders (and Strikers) in the game.

Q: Which Side Skills are useful?"
A: Depends on the Operator but:

• AoE DMG RDC > Decrease Ground DMG > Decrease Ranged DMG
• Increase ASPD
• Increase CRIT DMG
