QUICK OVERVIEW
So, there once lived a small arcade, and in that arcade was a single Candy Crane. The Candy Crane had a very steady stream of kids visiting them, and they loved giving out prizes to the kids and watching their faces light up when they were granted more than one chocolate bar. Life was pretty good at the arcade for Candy Crane. A few years later, the arcade grew into a more steady buisness, which in turn planted a Plucky Ducky and Toy Soldier machine next to Candy Crane. Candy Crane LOVED their new friends! They both were so unique, and together, they delighted many kids and adults alike.
But, in 2014, the small arcade was taken into ownership by a new owner named Dereck, a gambling addict and alcoholic. Dereck decided, with his power, to install more flashy games, in order to gain a large money stream. Along with this came the Elaut E-Claw, which was only released a few years prior and was gaining popularity among bigger nationwide arcades. Dereck made the decision to install a line of 6 or so E-Claws against the same wall as Candy Crane, with Candy Crane being shoved on the absolute edge of all of the new, large visitors.
As the installment began, things began to take a drastic turn in Candy Crane's life. To install the row of E-Claws, they had to rid of the Toy Soldier and Plucky Ducky. Instead of selling them off for profit, though, Dereck used an interesting method to dispose of the claws: completely destroying them. Dereck was on a drunk rampage at the time the claws were being disposed of. Unfortunately for Candy Crane, they watched out the back window while their friends got mutilated by the big boss.
After the installment in early summer, things were kicking up into full swing. Kids and parents were flooding in because of the vacation. This is where Candy Crane really experienced the terrible pit that was the Elaut E-Claw. The E-Claw had a way of luring people in with their outfit and then stealing or gambling the persons, even children, out of their hard earned cash. This set Candy Crane off like a bomb, but there wasn't anything they could do. They were only a claw machine after all.
CLAW MACHINE OVERVIEW (FOR NOOBS)
ECLAW
Elaut E-Claws are known to be the most rigged claw of them all. Known for their plastic jewels, bright rainbow lights, and "Thank You" when you input cash, these claw machines are known for taunting you by picking up and releasing prizes. The Elaut E-Claw was created in 2009.
CANDY CRANE
The Candy Crane (and candy claws in general) are easy play-to-win claws that usually cost around a dollar a play. Young children are really attracted to these machines. The Candy Crane in specifics is more of the vintage variety of these candy claws, the Candy Crane House coming after it. There is meager information on when the Candy Crane was manufactured.
PLUCKY DUCKY
The Plucky Ducky, usually found in malls, is another play to win game like the candy claw, but with rubber ducks, these also are only about a dollar a play and come with very catchy music. Under further inspection, the Plucky Ducky was manufactured by Elaut (the same people who created the E-Claw!) in 2010! Talk about a switch from the company!
TOY SOLDIER
The Toy Soldier claw is a bit more on the vintage side and can be found in more lower-end areas. It is a typical 3-prong claw with trademark bright yellow sides. It is usually a very compact, rectangular claw as opposed to a spacey one It was made by Coastal Amusements, but there is insufficient information on when the Toy Soldier claw was released.
