Notes
As a reminder if you want to see a card completely, visit https://www.carddass.com/dbh/sdbh_ugm/cardlist/ with a translate add-on or utility, can copy the card text and paste it to google translate or DeepL. Also as extra utility, here's the link to the avatar abilities if you're curious, remember to have a translator on standby if you're not fluent in Japanese, https://www.carddass.com/dbh/sdbh_ugm/play/avatar_ability.php And Dimps-sama, if you are reading this, pls WM2, I get to make 50 decks in 36 hours, you get a tax right-off if it bombs if that's how it works in Japan, and your devs can have a simple dev cycle that shouldn't be too painful, everyone wins. H1 -> MM1, let it happen. Also if you wish to buy SDBH cards, good luck with your native customs, https://jp.mercari.com/ is way to look up SDBH cards to personally own them, note its best to search with the card number ("UGM6-055" for UGM6-055 Vegeta (Xeno) as an example), and that if you try to go for big name cards like UGM7-SEC3 Goku Black, it can go into hundreds of dollars but other cards are relatively cheap.
Another BS Aggro Variant
The idea is that UGM1-053 Trunks (Xeno) opens a lot of doors open for the other cards in the deck, as long as BM7-SEC Goku has the most STA, which is usually the goal since that means you can block more attacks, due to Trunks (Xeno) able to fulfill the STA DMG needs as a BS that means than the other co-op group, for Trunks (Xeno) admittedly only does 3 bars of STA DMG for three enemies with high STA, and in the instance of there being a fourth, I think he goes for attack order (first the ELS, than HRs, and lastly BS which means rip hitting BM7-SEC Goku but this shouldn't be too common an occurence unless everyone is back on UGM9 Bardock and EL Android HA rather than Krillin or something, also note Trunks (Xeno) only hits attackers, supporters don't matter here which could be important for them trying to play around Piccolo (SH)) Also, found better HA card that is slightly smaller, not mine though, was grabbed from mercari.
Princess Trunks' Arrival!
Card | Quick Why |
---|---|
UGM1-053 Trunks (Xeno) | Tl;dr of the previous spiel, STA DMG that is a BS, the PWR/GRD disruption sounds nice until you realize 5k doesn't cut it anymore in the land of the SH core let alone UGM9 Future Gohan, but it being strong STA DMG that isn't just one-shot means that there's more freedom in deck building, since he doesn't do 4 bars while SSG there's still a co-op group to eat the last bar of BM7-SEC but it doesn't need to be something like UGM4-064 Gohan (SH) + good stuff card, you can have more dedicated cores in its place, even including a HR co-op group instead of a EL since they still attack earlier than the BS co-op group. |
UGM10-039 Goku (GT) | Just with the core, 13k PWR for the BS co-op group, doubled with Piccolo (SH) means 26k PWR really late into a turn meaning you don't fear a spec of dust of UGM5-017 Goku or UGM8-SEC Gogeta (Xeno), 26k+ PWR is still really good and able to hit hard, especially if supported with pierce. |
UGM5-SEC Piccolo (SH) | Same as every other time he's here, 2x PWR/PWR LV for the co-op group, STA generation, fixed PWR LV is really nice in a world of Majin Ozotto is appreciated since this is a real easy way to still go first against him. Gohan (SH) could have applications depending on match-up/how much the enemy respects Piccolo (SH) as free fixed DMG but common. |
UGM6-055 Vegeta (Xeno) | R1 he's GRD pierce, R2 he's GRD/DMG reduction pierce. Could replace for HGD6-055 Baby Trunks if you want your whole team to have it and not need to add in a HA for the team, further freeing up slots but I don't feel Baby Trunks is exactly reliable, maybe with a stun card or two he is but that's best answered with games, not theory crafting. |
HA | Note this doesn't have to be a BS card, while yes it isn't literally any card, there's still much you can have with the HA slot, EL android HA as stability while the HR android HA is CI interference, BS Demon God HA as re-targeting since Trunks (Xeno) does GRD shred, SS4LB Note for all the fucking damage and 10k more PWR for Piccolo (SH) to recognize, GoD HAs for fixed DMG with extra utilities. |
Facking Cores baby!
Just in case you are new, a core refers to a small collection of cards that are strong together but also focus on each other, for example UGM2-064 Gohan (SH) and UGM2-065 Piccolo (SH) are really good, as a supplement to a deck to give it PWR/GRD/HE Generation/destruction alongside stable STA generation, dedicated (SH) decks were present but not amazing when compared to just plopping these two alongside the standard Aeos core, though the (SH) cards and the Aeos cards don't really interact with each other. Another term is engine but cores feel more apt with SDBH since of the smaller deck size. Also this section can include solo cards and not just cores.
Card(s) | Why |
---|---|
The (SH) Core (UGM2-064/065 Gohan(SH)/Piccolo (SH)) | Stability and versatility, 6k PWR/GRD and 3 HE for you or away from the enemy when an attacker or supporter, this can be appreciated pwr/grd for the team or extra shredding if the enemy's light on that to help Turnks (Xeno) sting more, Piccolo (SH) on the other hand is 2 reliable bars of STA, one of the safest options you could pick because its just good, and doesn't have a certain thieving monkey. |
Parital Goku Core (UGM9-059 Bardock in Black OR UGM9-061 Future Gohan in Black and a Goku) | Talking about Goku, there is the meta core if you want, note that with wanting the HA for UGM6-055 Vegeta (Xeno), you can't get the entire core. Bardock in Black is the STA generator with the benefit of STA dmg resistance, note that you can use UGM3-057 Future Gohan in Black (more on him later) if you have the room for the full Goku core to get his DMG Multiplication tech unit, Future Gohan in Black is PWR/GRD generation, 1.5k PWR/GRD per enemy attacker for everyone in the same row as him, his unit is CI interference while disabling Miracle perfects, this PWR/GRD can mean more for Piccolo (SH) and is a lot of GRD too. As for the Goku, many options exist, PCS20-01 |
UGM3-057 Future Gohan in Black | If you have a Trunks (Xeno) he gets 4x PWR/PWR LV at the start of the game, and gains more PWR based on the dmg you took, with his DMG being tripled if you took 4k+, can be a speedy damage monkey, if you have the defensive profile to take damage but not all the damage. Bit more build around than other options but because of the freed room, you could do something. Main issue is that if this is a 6th BS so you really need the last card to be a lock-on to help with UGM1-SEC2 Goku in particular, if that's something you fear, I haven't seen him in a long while so I think you don't have to worry about him so much as BM7-SEC, which hopefully Trunks (Xeno) can take cover on. Does appreciate early STA generation at the start of the game like with ABS-18 Vegito or UGM8-068 Shallot for that R1 aggression. |
UM9-SEC2 Goku (GT) | This lets you laugh at MM1 Ozotto the hardest among other emergency recovery cards since he offers fixed PWR LV, something very valuable against him for R2. |
BM8-SEC Gogeta (BM) | If your HA is a HR, than you can make an argument to have this with any other HR of your persuasion as a way to have two very lethal co-op groups instead of one, Goku (GT) does give 3k PWR to everyone which is something, Gogeta (BM) offers GRD pierce, HE doubling, and CI interference so even a more defensive HR card could still pack some damage. |
BM5-SEC3 Goku with any Frieza:Resurrected or A17 | Sets his PWR LV to normal at the start of the round so Majin Ozotto doesn't influence him and gains fixed PWR LV in the process, with the aforementioned cards in his HR co-op group, he gets GRD pierce. |
UGM5-054 Goku and UGM7-063 Goku (BR) | Little HE core to help act as defensive utility by stealing all the enemy PWR, Goku also makes it where you don't care too much on HE disruption as long as you can get one HE for Goku (BR) to destroy. |
BM10-SEC3 Kid Goku or any other Revive card like UGM8-CP1 Frieza or UGM1-SEC4 Goku | With this you can exploit low HP thresholds whether its UM4 Gohans/UGM9 Gotenks, UGM8 Monaka, the BM7 Golden Frieza/Golden Cooler cards, a couple of Promo Bardocks, whatever it maybe, this opens that door, not like the BS co-op group here is offering much defense on its own, and here you get to make fun with something like SS4 Note to go raw for the damage. |
SS4 Note Core (Any SS Goku and Base Bardock) | UGM5-017 Goku and BM10-017 Bardock sounds like the funniest way of doing this but the idea is that these two have a ton of good card you get to pick from while also making sure you have access to a nice PWR LV Unit for R3 onward (or R2 if no Majin Ozotto), BM7-050 is a SS Goku that has a hellfire effect as well as doubles your team's PWR/GRD. |
Miracle Core? (UGM8-SEC3 Bardock and UGM9-045 Pan) | If going all in on the BS angle, than these two should offer a lot of miracle perfects to help get wins if you feel your CI game sucks. |
Fusion/Potara CAAs | Predominantly a funny option but you can make use of BM11-058 Goku (Xeno) as high HE generation with Energy Guard and stun for R1 (not too great on the stun, only prevents HE by abilities but could come up against UGM10-SEC Goku funnily enough) and BM11-060 Vegeta (Xeno) as a R2 stun. BM10-056 Vegeta is a BS that offers some STA disruption when he attacks (halves enemy STA, sadly he and MM1-SEC2 Cell aren't enough unless the enemy only generates 3 bars of STA for BM7-SEC Goku, not 4), doubles your team's PWR, attacks twice, and softens three enemies with the highest PWR to having base PWR instead of their boosted PWR, with an easy fusion-member in SSB Goku (Crimson God Meteor, potent R1 HE stun, among many other options, it's SSB Goku for Zamasu's sake). UM6-050 Goku (BR) is a way to get under hellfire effects if you fear that by having a supporter after he fused, free PWR generation too to further boost the BS co-op group and 2x fixed damage. For potaras, main ones of note are the BM6 SS4LB Vegeta (Xeno)/Goku (Xeno), mainly the latter since UGM6-055 Vegeta (Xeno) has us ignoring enemy DMG reduction making Vegeta (Xeno) moot. Also is another way of getting some miracle perfect chance for the co-op group with something like Kibitokai, Gotenks (Xeno), or Gotan depending on preference/meme level. |
Stun Cards | Whether its MM1 Majin Ozotto, UGM10 Gamma No.2, HGD9 Trunks (Future), or any other, you are more free in what you want rather than needing it to be a BS for number requirements. |
Robel Cores (UM3 Robel & Demon God Demigra OR UGM6 Demon Goddess Robel & EL Demon God/Dark King Demigra) | UM3 Robel offers you 4x PWR per enemy attack to all attackers, which can be made a bit more permanent with the PWR doubling of Piccolo, everyone in the BS co-op group swinging with 100k+ PWR sounds pretty good, and then UGM6 Robel is more a stun card, halving enemy STA but also increasing their CI R1 with the added bonus of healing 2k HP per enemy attacker if you win an attacking CI where her and Demon God/Dark King Demigra are in the same co-op group. As for the Demigras, note it must be Demon God for UM3 Robel and not any other variant, no UGM6 Dark King Demigra for example, and that UGM6 Demon Goddess Robel wants an EL Demigra in paticular. For the Dark King Demigras, there's a Strongest of the Strong with a dark shenron as STA DMG insurance, one with Pride in Battle with a keysword lock, UGM6-059 can hit really hard if they don't have a lot of HE, and then UGM8-055 is some PWR/GRD theft and a hard hitting God Meteor. Demon God Demigra opens up Torrential Magic with HGD10-SEC2 if you want more STA generation, and HGD8-SEC2 Demon God Meteor if you want their CI to be the fastest in the demon west, also swaps lowest PWR ally with highest PWR enemy but that could get bad depending on how timing works with Robel's temporary PWR or something. For UM3 Robel, you have the aforementioned EL Demon God Demigra as well as an opportunity for fixed PWR LV with BM5-062 Demigra, Strongest of the Strong, and Burning God Meteor (-1 to enemy HE per enemy attacker they have) + High Voltage. |
Godbird button (Godbird with any number of delete buttons, preferably not BS) | Godbird Toki Toki makes it where it's much easier to get a perfect on one attacker, main issue is that this attacker can't be in a co-op group so it shouldn't be someone in the co-op group, this also takes away the ability of the card so you have to heavily rely on their CAA for extra utility beyond helping a kill button land. Good kill buttons include BM8-SEC2 Vegeta, UM10-SEC3 Majin Vegeta, UGM6-SEC Gogeta (Xeno) technically, UM4-SEC Vegito, and more, any that have a focus on unending damage, just note you probably want one with native pierce like the aforementioned BM8-SEC2 Vegeta. As for good godbird slaves, BM1 SKoT has a keysword lock and her bird promises 5k HP, BM6-059 Trunks (Xeno) has a block burst, UGM1 SKoT has a hellfire god meteor with a Blessing of Time unit (3HE to give 1k fixed PWR LV to all allies and increase miracle perfect chance) if you happen to fit Goku (Xeno) onto the team, and PCS19-03 SKoT is a BS with a keysword lock. |
