• Who is Soraka as a character?
  Soraka as a character is a celestial being known as the Starchild from the celestial realm. She, along with the inhabitants of the celestial realm watched the mortal realm - and more specifically - the races of Runeterra, with growing concern. Chaos and suffering would often occur as the guidance and fates woven by the celestials often went unseen or, at worst, misinterpreted by the mortal beings of Runeterra. No longer having the heart to watch, Soraka chose to descend to the mortal realm and do what she could to untangle the knots of the chaos and misinterpretation. On her journey, Soraka realized her place wasn't to repair the celestial pattern - while a part of her craved the comforting fix of the destinies of the stars, her heart knew that those fates could not contain the potential of mortality. Thus, she was now driven to unlock the possibilities of all creatures and beings she met, wishing to inspire and guide rather than shepherd - allowing mortals the chance to discover for themselves what unblazed trails unveiled in their brief, radiant moments. Soraka is the type of healer who could literally be attacked by an injured animal/mortal being and she wouldn't care - she would still help them. She would still do everything in her power to save them.
