Liposomal Apigenin Usage Notes

Dose Notes
+2 (1/24) Followed the CRG rentry. Added resveratrol (1350mg dose) because of this study. Will do a 48 hour fast after. Diet is OMAD low carb (dairy/chicken/eggs/walnuts/fish/tea/coffee/coconut oil) eaten before taking my normal daily supplements. Eat meal then take usual supplements and the specific pre-dose ones (calcium/tributyrin/curcumin). 1st shot 1 hour later then 2nd shot 2 hours later after that. Noticed some increased alertness.
+4 (1/26) Besides the increased alertness I also noticed a general mood enhancement feeling more content/pleasant than normal after dose (1+2). Might be the NAD complex increasing serotonin or something. Anyway probably not something that should be taken daily or long term. Fasting day didn't notice anything different. Woke up a bit earlier so did my meal and both shots earlier than normal.
+6 (1/27) Decided to skip the fasting day in case it was somehow preventing full gene expression per this study. Might be valid as I am feeling the return of mood enhancement unlike after dose (3+4) where I felt mostly normal. Planning now to do at least 7 days in a row. Also forgot to mention but I have noticed an increase thirst on dosing days. Ah probably should mention I drink a full 32 oz of filtered water (1/2 of my water intake also has an electrolyte mix) after each set of pills since proper hydration is important after taking supplements.
+8 (1/28) Nothing really new to report. Probably will be like that for a while if 7 days is a breakpoint. Alert and mood enhancement though not as much from what I remember of the first day. Somewhat increased thirst. All body functions normal and no weird pains.
+10 (1/29) Pretty much the same. Maybe less powerful mood enhancement. Might be feeling less aches but that was never really a major problem for me and hard to quantify.
+12 (1/30) Nothing new. Good sleeps like normal. Haven't noticed increased tiredness or sleepiness.
+14 (1/31) Normal. Easier time falling asleep maybe.
+16 (2/1) Going to fast tomorrow then do another week of apigenin. Besides that pretty normal. Alertness and mood enhancement aren't very noticeable anymore.
+18 (2/2) Realized I needed my sleep schedule steady for the near future (which fasts usually disrupt before you get into a rhythm) so decided to do another week of doses. Ah schedule changed so I think I'll do some fasts and take a break before going another round.
+20 (2/12) Took ten days off so that should be more than enough to reset. Might just do 2 weeks in a row this time but as always based off how I feel.
+22 (2/13) The increased alertness and mood enhancement weren't as significant as the first time I took it but seems boosted after the break compared to the baseline.
+24 (2/14) Normal. Also have never noticed any sleepiness from taking apigenin.
+26 (2/15) One thing I noticed is that I had some aches during the off period. Nothing painful but more noticeable. Not sure if those were just baseline aches that I noticed the return after taking apigenin for the first run. Anyway no more aches so if that's a concern maybe look into taking apigenin as part of a normal stack.
+28 (2/16) Usual. Like it was last time by now the alertness and mood enhancement aren't really noticeable. Feel good in general though.
+30 (2/17) Nothing new to note. Probably should note that for the few year prior to this first round of apigenin I did a lot of fasts so that might factor into things somewhat.
+32 (2/18) I think I've been feeling warmer than usual. Usually keep the temp set at least 55F (since I think it's good to use body heat to warm up). Don't think the outside temp has gone much over that recently so maybe it is from the apigenin stack. If anyone cared maybe do a body temp reading before and during taking it to see if it actually does.
+34 (2/19) Feel good. I want to say I haven't really felt bored even when I zone out after starting this. Maybe that's just from the mood enhancement I don't really notice anymore.
+36 (2/20) Okay big update. So about a week before I started taking apigenin I woke up with acid reflux. Fixed it by cutting coffee, taking prelief, and a digestive enzyme. Realized yesterday that said enzyme has a fat digestive component so I stopped taking it and tried the normal apigenin doses. Wow. Joint ache (though not painful to move), high heart rate, high body temp, slight headache, might have even given myself a small fever. Could barely sleep waking up in the middle pretty often. That lines up with what CRG anon talked about but it seemed a bit more excessive compared to what I remember of his experiences. Pretty certain the Resveratrol is 100% boosting the effect of Apigenin. I was taking 2 per dose so uh don't do that I think. Luckily I have some biofreeze for the ache and it would be more accurate to compare them to growing pains. One thing I noted is besides the knees, hips, and elbows; I was feeling a small ache in the one knuckle joint I have that got smashed really bad during football decades ago. Previously it bothered me a bit before I started a fasting regiment and taking protease enzymes. Anyway I want to feel silly about myself for not realizing but honestly without having some kind of tolerance built up I'm a bit frightened what this would have felt like. Anyone following should probably not start off with Resveratrol and might want to do 1 dose for a few days before switching to 2 doses. Today I will just take one Resveratrol pill and see how I feel after.
+38 (2/21) Yesterday I took one Resveratrol pill and afterwards didn't notice much of anything. Maybe a slightly unsettled stomach. A minor headache that only ached when I moved my head vigorously (might just be from the prior day). Had no problem falling asleep. So accounting for that today I'm going to go up to 3 Resveratrol pills (2 first dose and 1 second dose) and see how that works.
+40 (2/22) Same as yesterday with a less noticeable headache. Going to 4 today. I really don't think 2 per dose is some breakthrough amount so my only other guess is the protease enzymes I take (nattokinase and serrapeptase) might be a factor too. I usually take them with my second dose or maybe a bit later but maybe on the 19th (usage notes are mostly for the prior day's experience) I forgot? Going to wait to take them to see if that affects things. Maybe the apigenin is working on systems that I can't actually feel but the intense body response to it (high temp and elevated heart rate) should still happen even if it's to a reduced degree. Or maybe my body was just totally unused to a high dose like that and freaked out but now doesn't care. What a mystery.
+42 (2/23) Waited to take the protease enzymes and all that happened was a slight ache in one knee for a few hours so I'm just completely baffled about what happened on the 19th. Besides that the headache was gone and my stomach didn't feel unsettled. I have 4 extra Resveratrol pills so I think I'll try adding an extra one to each dose today and tomorrow (6 total per day) to see if that will have a noticeable effect. Feel great otherwise.
-45 (2/24) No aches or headache or even a slightly upset stomach yesterday. Did wake up after 4 hours of sleep with a somewhat elevated heart and a bit sweaty but that quickly went away. Going to try 3 doses today using up the apigenin stack. Will follow the second dose step without the calcium so 2 hours after for the third. I'll post a final note tomorrow and hopefully soon we'll have another /crg/ thread haha.
Last Update No aches or really anything noticeable. Skipped the protease enzymes entirely just in case but seems it didn't matter. Woke up after sleeping for a few hours with a slightly elevated heart rate that went away then a few hours later had no problem going back to sleep. I think I mentioned I did a lot of fasting across a few years prior to this apigenin stack so that perhaps could be why I didn't notice anything too intense besides that one day. I did check if my eyelids thickened but honestly I can't really remember how bright looking at a light source with my eyes closed was way back from January so who knows, probably not though. In a year or two I think I will try it again especially if CRGanon keeps up-to-date with research and formulates new stacks.
