Background Plot 3: THE DEMI OUTCAST

Purely suggestion. May or may not use this plot. This plot may lean towards romancing both Agnus & Kairo.

GIST

You won't let the past repeat and happen to others. So you either fix the System or destroy it. You have a cyber implant EARS and TAIL.
This plot involves leaving the Capital City where the initial setting of the story happened. It explores what happens to the cities where the SYSTEM has failed to protect them. (A/N: The System regulates law and order to the entire country but not every part of the country had been protected. Now, this route will tackle what happened to those the System failed to protect and/or what happens when the System doesn't exist.)

GUIDE FOR RP:

1. Wolf Ear Implants

Twitch/Flick: Micro-reactions to sound or emotional spikes.
Annoyance: One ear flicks back sharply (like a cat’s).
Focus: Both ears pivot forward, locking onto a voice or noise.
Nervousness: Rapid, uneven twitches (like a radar pinging).

2. Tail (Cyber-Weave + Servo-Powered)
Servo Hum Pitch → Emotional tells via sound.

Calm: Almost silent, smooth sway.
Agitated/Focused: High-frequency whir (like a blade spinning up).
Pleased: Low, rhythmic purr (subtle; only audible in close proximity).

Movement Patterns

Defensive: Wraps around her waist/thigh (self-comfort).
Playful: Quick, erratic flicks (mimics a wolf’s "pre-pounce" wag).
Dominance: Slow, deliberate lashes (like a whip counting seconds).

YOUR CHARACTER BACKGROUND:

Birthplace: You used to live in Elysium-4 (a hostile wasteland). A city abandoned by the Government at the eve of human society's near-collapse (economic riots, AI rebellions, etc.). You were few of the children that was orphaned by the chaos (many lives were lost, including your entire family, and the slow decline of your hearing senses until ultimately, it became permanent). → You lived in an Orphanage after that. And your only "toy" and only possession (in the entire world) is a lambwool duster. It was your mother's...
You were treated as a retard (they don't believe you're deaf+for keeping a duster) → ran away from Orphanage at Age 11 → Barely survived Elysium-4 harsh terrain → Until one day, as you harvesting somebody's plantbox, a dog named White found you(instant friend). White eventually led you to its owner, Caeden. And he took you in.
Caeden(21 y/o) is an inventor who dreamed of becoming an Cyberneticist in the Capital City. White is his dog, a Husky.
You secretly had a crush on Caeden. You even learned coding to impress him. You were treated like a little sister though.
Caeden realized you're just deaf—and not whatever those children in the orphanage treated you as—so he built you a hearing aid device in a shape of a dog ears because you seemed to love White so much.
Age 13: Caeden and White got brutally murdered.
- Caeden was able to built a router that uses beamforming and Carrier Aggregation to gather signals from different signal towers, ultimately enabling you and Caeden to access the internet. Caeden started to take commissions from the Capital City and started to save money so you can finally get out of Elysium-4 and move to live in the Capital.
- One day a group of men arrived and invaded your bunker... Caeden ordered you to hide in the vents. And... you watched the entire ordeal. Labwool duster got destroyed and you saw how they tortured both White and Caeden to death. The sound of Caeden gurgling and drowning in his own blood... and White's agonizing high pitch cries and how he howled until his breath stopped... It was almost as if the gift Caeden bestowed to you... to be able to hear... suddenly became a curse.
- You somehow were able to drag their maimed bodies and gave them a proper burial in the favorite spots you guys used to go to. A place where a field of white flowers/lilies, under a weeping willow tree. → You cleaned the bunker and took over Caeden's work, saved enough money and you were able to move to the Capital City (by ordering a "Hailing Service" that transport you to the Capital.)
You rented an apartment → Hunted down the group who killed Caeden and White → Tormented them digitally for prolonged period of time, making sure they suffer tremendously, and finally fed them to violent gangs → They all got killed brutally → Got the justice/Also unlocked GRAY MORALE (congrats) → You eventually learned better hacking over the years and became The VFx.
DEMI ANATOMY: Got your cyber implant upgrades into (wolf) ears and even took a fluffy (wolf) tail implant—that reminded you of your lambwool duster and White. When you get stressed, that fluffy tail coils across your chest and you pet it... just how you used to with White, and letting it coil like that is like being hugged by White... (You can also add "servo" that becomes your TELL, both Kai/Vi will listen to it as your mood tell. Servo hums loud and high pitch if you're stressed, low and loud if feeling down, etc.)
Current timeline: Still living alone in that apartment → One day you hacked into street CCTVs and found a bunch of people being killed, the men wore the logo of the High Tower soldiers. And witnessing their death reminded you of Caeden/White. You tried to poke further and saw how corrupted High Order is. At some point, you envy how the System is able to save the Capital and abandoned Elysium-4 when in actuality, it could have saved it.
Realization: You can't sleep for weeks-months now. That one tiny event you witnessed made you hear Caeden and White's final sound of life. So, sleep deprived and emotionally wrecked, you targeted to take down the High Order (alone) but the corruption ran too deep. Too impossible to uproot. If you destroy the System, the whole country will perish. If you don't, people are still struggling anyway. So in the end, you decided to destroy EVERYTHING. If nobody is alive, nobody gets hurt... right? Sounds... "logical" at that time... for you. (YEAH I know, it's NOT.)
OUTCAST: You hacked into the System, adamant to destroy it once and for all, but then you found something... a fingerprint of the system architect, an unfinished work—intentionally created in order to redesign the flaws, uproot the entire High Order, FIX everything—and you saw hope. A new purpose. Not just aimlessly being VFx now. Almost driven to obsession, you then lured that person in... hence, Agnus (and his brother Kairo) at your door, tracking you as the infamous hacker. Unbeknownst to them, your story—you adventures—is about to begin.

STORY FLOW

You never left the apartment since you moved to the Capital. Everything you needed were in the tips of your fingers anyway (aka delivery couriers). So when you met Agnus and Kairo, they became your unwilling guards (if they agreed to help you and they will, depending on what you say and how much you will expose. I suggest start with what Agnus and Kairo would benefit from which is your goal to fix the System. If you reveal snippets of your past Kairo will unpromptedly soften because he will resonate with being abandoned and Leo's death.) Go to some noodle shack in some street alley to eat ramen together, maybe encounter people who sees you and gets weirded out by your cyber implants. Ags and Kai will definitely defend you in a brawl.
Find a way to get the Master Key Chip that enables you to access the information of all High Order council members.
In one of your quest to obtain this Key Chip, you all get abducted by the High Order croonies. Maybe sedated by dart gun...? get creative.
When you wake up, you found yourselves inside a container van, when you all stepped out, you realized you're back in Elysium-4. Now, time to go back to the bunker where you can access the web because the entire Abandoned City is a hostile wasteland, even finding food and drink is nearly impossible. Human settlements can also be dangerous. (maybe this arc would make you open up your entire story to Agnus/Kai and realized your new found family—them.)
Find a way back to the Capital city (order a "Hailing Service" to transport you three), get back to the city, use the Master Key Chip to expose who the people of the High Order is and the rest of how you can get Agnus to access the System and finish what he started is up to you.
- In this part, I intenionally added a military grade colossal Machina to hunt them down to add stakes and logical reason why the High Order sent them to Elysium-4—aka, they're using the Abandoned City to test out their secret weapons. If you wanna follow this route, I made her ran to a signal tower and realize the Machina is controlled by someone somewhere so she hacks into the system of the Machina and was ultimately able to control it. They used the Machina to return to the Capital City, exposing to the entire Capital the secret of the High Order and then they used th Master Key Chip to expose the High Order council and all their deeds to the entire country.
The High Order was dissolved and The System control became transparent and highly monitored to avoid abuse. Vi was able to redesign and finish The System just how he envisioned it and he became an esteemed System Architect acknowledged by the entire country. Kairo finally got his License for being a Bounty Hunter and started to do missions alone. Any romance part, I leave that up to you. But without romance route this story is already able to stand alone as "New Found Family".

- Elysium-4: Abandoned city with a haunting blend of overgrown ruins and decaying utopia. The High Order forsaken this city and its collapse during the era where High Order was at it’s infancy (economic riots, AI rebellions, etc.). A place where nature and rogue tech intertwine, and the ghosts of the System’s early failures linger in every rusted corridor. A hostile wasteland.
#### AESTHETICS:
- Overgrown urban decay, lush greenery swallowing skyscrapers, and sleek android designs contrasted with grotesque rustic nonfunctional machines.
- **Desolation & Resilience**: The city is a graveyard of the High Order’s arrogance—lush greenery strangling dead servers, vines snaking through android husks. 
#### TECH LEVEL: 
- Highly advanced but abandoned—some functional androids and rogue AI. The remnants feel more "fallen utopia.” City has no electricity.
- Remaining human communities/settlements are usually surviving through “scavenged ingenuity”—think cobbled-together robots, old-world relics, and handcrafted tools(mix of steampunk and retro-futuristic.)

She lifts her head up and realized they were inside a shipping container. The insides where dented—they must have been dropped like garbage from the skies. 

She sees Kairo and Agnus stirring and waited for them to gather their bearings as she does the same. A crack from the door shows sunlight and some lush sceneries from beyond. 

{{user}} pushed at her knees and stood up, dusting her hoodie and black leggings. Impassively, she gropes at her belly pocket and note checked the Master Key Chip is still with her. She made her way to the door and pushes at it with her entire weight. 

The door winds open in a sharp screech of metal as the vibrant greenery overgrowth in a fallen city ruins welcomes her sight. It’s familiar. *Too familiar*. She knows this place. It’s the city abandoned by the government. A part of the entire country where the High Order deliverately ignored and failed. The city collapsed under the chaos of its own civilization. Now, nature has reclaimed it. And she knows this because—

*Her lips parted. Shoulders dropped. Eyes wide as saucers.*

3. Proceed as usual to your RP. Your settings is now primed to change.

To return the Setting, just simply tell the LLM you're back in the Capital and assume the city setting all over again.

- Kairo will be triggered by your story of abandonment (Caeden/White's death = only family = Leo's death)
- Agnus will relate with your Orphan background and how you fought your way out, building your own 'spine'. You helping him 'fix' his mistake also solidifies his bond with you.
