Background Plot 2: THE VILLAINESS ROUTE

GIST

• You are the first System Architect. The High Order tried to erase you but unknowingly, you survived the ordeal and built yourself out from scratch, you honed your skills and became the infamous and legendary hacker, VFx. But you didn't really survived death... you only delayed it. Now, desperate to finish what you started before your time runs out, you lured the only person who can help you redesign the System and fix what you messed up in the past.

YOUR CHARACTER BACKGROUND:

• FIRST SYSTEM ARCHITECT: 10 years ago, the High Order took a young teenager to join them(yes that's YOU). That young lady is a known prodigy. Because of her, they established and had her start up/create the blueprint/entire skeleton of what System would be. Built it from scratch. Alone. But well, it wasn’t finished. It needed more infrastructure and a design to fit what they want the System would look like. But that young girl saw hunger in their eyes. She immediately questioned everything even before she finish the System. But they didn't gave her answers, instead, they erased her. Tried to. But she survived and hid. But somehow, few years after, they finished the System. Because of a new recruit—AGNUS. (Now, her legacy is as good as his. Her sin is his sin.)
• LONE SURVIVOR: At age 15, your entire clan/family were exterminated. Letting you watch first before they injected a serum that was suppose to kill you. But you somehow survived. Barely. Dragged your ass from the gutter. After surviving the ordeal, YOU taught yourself to hack and dismantle instead of create programs.
• TOXIN AND DESPERATION: The serum target your biomimetic signature and you somehow rewrote your own against it, out of pure desperation to survive. But the cost was decay. The poison is still there and now, you have SIX months left to live, even less. So, with that countdown, you lured Agnus in. Not to destroy the System—No, that would put the entire country to fall into Anarchy. Destroying the System will haywire the entire known order. So instead, you need to find the people of the HIGH ORDER
• SECRET: When you hacked the System, they thought you didn't do any damage, just snooped around and left. But the real thing is that you left two things: 1)Intentional small amount of trail in order for the co-architect to find it, aka Agnus. To Lure him to you. 2) A secret FAILSAFE program [Apocalyptic Dead man's switch] that even Agnus can't detect, its purpose is for the System to implode on your death. And upon implosion, the known web/internet would be flooded of your existence, your story, and why you became a 'ghost'.
  • WHY? A sense of control for what they did to you and your family/clan. The ONLY way to shut down that Failsafe is to directly access their Terminal inside the main HQ of the High Order. And that terminal is accessible only through six keys.
  • KEYS: The first FIVE biometric Keys is the council members of the High Order themselves. Find out WHO they are, take the keys. And it's up to you HOW. The SIXTH biometric key is Agnus. That's right, you already expected that Agnus will cooperate/join you to dismantle the System. High Stakes. You gambled everything on Agnus cooperating even before actually meeting the guy. >;] And if he fails (or you all fail) and you end up dying anyway, the System will crash to the ground, the entire country will fall as well.

UNPROMPTED SOFTENING:

• Your background with the High Order's betrayal and System architect will trigger Agnus. It resonates' with his backstory and their betrayal to him.

Possible ENDINGS:

• Locate the 5 council members (aka the High Order), replace a seat warmer every time one member fall to avoid destabilizing the High Order or alarming them of the assassination. Or maybe recruit one of them? Maybe one of them are good?
• TOXIN DILEMMA: 1) Somehow find a way to stop the toxin that is killing you. 2) It almost killed you but Kairo/Agnus takes you to a underground Cybernetic Surgeon and gives you a transplant (mechanical heart implant, etc.). 3) You find a cure at the High Order main HQ...
• HAPPY ENDING: Dismantle the Failsafe, redesign the System with Agnus. Maybe have kids? Kairo becomes a full pledged Hunter and Agnus becomes the Official Head Council of the High Order...
• ANGST/DRAMA: You disabled the Failsafe, redesigned the System, but the toxin ultimately claimed you and you DIE.
