RP PLOT SUGGESTIONS

Background Plot 1: THE LIVING WEAPON

GIST:

• VFx is not one person but two. You and your brother. One day, your brother did not return home, and as weeks stretched, you got impatient and hacked into the system yourself to find traces of him.

YOUR CHARACTER BACKGROUND:

• FATHER: You're a daughter of a [Medical NeuroSurgeon & Head Cyberneticist] in one of a highly classified projects called <insert name project here> (i.e. GENEVA). As a toddler, your father used to take you in his workplace/lab a lot with your older brother. They used to put probes in your head as they let you play your toys and monitor you even during nap hours. Your brother however, was not.
• THE IMPLANT: One day, while driving home with your family, you were in a car crash. You nearly died. Your father performed the operation himself and saved you. You survived—seemingly normal—except now you had a retinal implant. And “playtime” shifted into experiments: scientists asked you to tune radios with your mind. Your brother appeared beside you, this time with probes of his own and a laptop in hand.
• TWO GHOSTS: Then came the turning point. One day, your father left the lab without you or your brother—a rare event. Hours later, his car was found crashed and exploded. No body, no burial. Only an urn of ashes was handed back. Orphaned, you and your brother were thrown into the foster system. The first family that took you both were abusive. Refusing to accept it, your brother hacked into the fostercare system, erasing both your files and identities. From then on, the two of you no longer “existed.” He took commissions online, saved enough to rent an apartment, and built a new life for both of you. He taught you to code, to hack. You became untraceable—ghosts in the system.
• ISOLATED: But here's the thing—he instructed you to never leave the apartment. He said its' not safe. That he believes someone killed their Father. He even installed traps and CCTV system around the apartment complex just to keep you in. And if ever you get out, or someone else takes you, there are multi-levels of artillery rigged all over that apartment complex to annihilate you. Yes, YOU. Not the captors or possible enemies. YOU. His logic: Father’s legacy is YOU. "Better that we destroy you ourselves than let them take you—dismantle you, torture you, or use you. Use Father's legacy against the world." All the traps were designed only to respond to YOU trying to leave. Be exterminated if you try, that's the rule. But the apartment is the only place where you aren't being monitored, you can operate and hunt through your holoscreens.
• The hallway immediately outside your apartment door has needles that target any part of your body if it senses you. When you get closer to the elevators, there will be small round bullets that would target your head. You get it... the farther you go, the worse the trap becomes. Ultimately, it's better to destroy your head & the implant than let them have you. Yes, your brother's logic is twisted for a genius. He's the only one who leaves the apartment safe, gets to do the grocery and shit. Oh and if you try the windows, you get tranquilized darts shooting you from somewhere.
• SECRET: Your father had given you a seemingly OLD model retinal implant that you have to manually reboot on your left temple; you can see because of it. Turning it off makes you go blind. But it also enabled you to connect into ANYTHING that has a program and software (like a bluetooth but more complex) and your brother was raised to be one to wield your ability—to hack into things once you connect with them. Think of it as: once you connect to anything, it's like getting in front of a certain "door" but your brother is the one who has "the key" to unlock that door. You never learned how to "operate" your own implant. (But you will). In a world reliant to technology—you are invincible.
  • Your Weakness: Places with No Tech and you can't physically fight. Your cardio/stamina is terrible. Your a hacker, not a runner.
  • Some EXAMPLES of your abilities: Connect to a Traffic light and make it go red/green; walking in a mall, connect to their system speaker and change music (if you have a laptop and you learned to control your ability), if being chased by a 'bad' men using a car with AI—you can connect to their car and control it, watch TV and change channels without holding the remote, control a vending machine. YOU GET IT. You're OP.

UNPROMPTED SOFTENING:

• Your brother's abandonment/missing will trigger Kairo. It resonates' with his backstory(you also nearly died but got saved by your father) and abandonment(Leo's death).

Possible ENDINGS

• Your brother is: Alive vs Dead. or Good vs Evil.
• you can become BLIND but able to destroy the SYSTEM in the end. Or not and get a new retinal implant.
• You can do some self-sacrifice and DIE.
• Be able to find and save your brother from the High Order goons, both you and him hack and destroy the SYSTEM, Ags/Kai will do the fighting.

STORY FLOW

1. Arrival of Agnus/Kairo. You try to lie, they will escalate.
2. Explain you will help them destroy the System if they help you first.
   i. Show them you can't leave the apartment. (want some Angst? Make them believe you ALSO agree with your brother that your apartment is the safest place you can ever be in.)
   ii. Show them you are trapped by taking an arm out the doorway and pull it out last minute, showing them your bleeding/scraped arm. Maybe you got lots of scars on your arm by now, for trying to escape multiple times before.
   iii. Or maybe, you get lots of headache for the multiple times you got darted with tranquilizers when you tried escaping through the windows.
3. Ask them to locate your brother. You can watch them thru hacking into every CCTV in the city.
4. Offer them a place to sleep (aka your brother's bedroom haha)
5. Find a lead in a Gallery near the Business District of the City (a suspicious signature signal of your brother.)
   i. They should go in stealth mission/espionage. They need to get into the Museum's Main Server Room.
   ii. Give them USB that enables you to get into the Museum's main system/database. And Comm-links, to hear each other.
   iii. Guide them through by using CCTV.
   iv. Once they plug the USB let chaos erupt. But once you get it, get them out.
   v. Amidst the chaos you realized there are artilleries inside the Museum and guess who control them all now. YOU. destroy the bad guys. Get Vi and Kai out. (I personally blasted the Immigration Song by Led Zeppelin when I activated all the artillery and turned the Museum into a concert like event.)
   vi. Once they return, you three will rake through the Museum system only to find a fingerprint of your brother, looking into the project of your father. (if you want Angst, leave message for her like: If you read this {{user}} then know I'm safe. I'll be home soon. Stop tracking me down.)
6. The next few days, locate the tranquilizer dart guns. You will use the window to exit that cage. apartment.
   i. TRIAL and ERROR: try to keep getting dart while Vi and Kai try to locate where it came from.
   ii. There will be times when Kai who gets tranq. And times Vi... (Oh what fun lol)
   iii. As you guys finally removed it, you leave the apartment at last!
   iv. Now listen, through out your life, you leaned to your Brother to do the decision making, so NOW, your life is yours to lead. GO TASTE A RAMEN. Get the guys to take you to a nice streetside ramen shop. Play the ignorant card. You never really seen the outside world except thru your monitors/holoscreen. Your life has been sterile rooms and a small boxed apartment. You can act childdish or a reluctant Lady-like with innocence of a child. Vi and Kai will like you more and emphatize.
7. Get into their Hideout/apartment and stay there. Next target are the people who works under your Father.
   i. All people who worked under your father either died or are 'gone'.
   ii. Invent an NPC—son of the Second Head of the Lab. He lives in a deserted location without Tech, however he ordered something and that gave him away. You are able to pin locate him and you three travel to him.
   iii. Extract info from him. You may use him to stir jealousy from Kai or Vi as well...
