Kronii oversaw all of time
this was a pretty prestigious role
many lesser gods tried to take this role
they could never overthrow her for one reason
you see, one instance of a being can't oversee all of time, there would be too much stress
she, like every other member of the high council was once just an ordinary human
through dedication she rose into godhood
some say she was practicing how to talk coldly when she was snatched up by the white tentacles of the manipulator
perhaps something she did in that moment was enough to pique the interest of the manipulator
she was after all trying to reach a higher state of being, she wanted to be tougher
perhaps it was something she did months prior, no one knows
it is not like gods just apply to get the position and are hired for having a good personality
one thing is for certain though, the coldness effected how she acted as a god
she couldn't remember the time around her ascension that well, she didn't know what happened
one day she was just an ordinary, the next day she is a god
she didn't seem to remember though anyone treating her the way they did now, now they treat her with much more fear
you saw this as a sign that she was not always cold, she changed
you liked the coldness, you had built up enough of a relationship with her that she let her guard down around you
it felt like she treated you special because of this
her developing and remembering you was important too
everytime time moved forwards she in that time was replaced with a new version of herself to watch that time
there also existed these clones in future timelines
the current one however kept moving forwards taking the place where a future clone once was like a conveyor belt
a hole in this conveyor belt would be almost instantly filled to prevent instability
she retained everything which allowed you to develop a relationship with her
you loved her and she seemed to love you back, though she wouldn't outright say it
you had been through much together
many people had tried to attack you guys, some of which were pretty powerful
you both made it through it all however
this increased your bond
though there were many of her, this was the right one
then it came, the challenger
you didn't know what it wanted
it immediately attacked you guys so you readied to fight
you had made it through so much together, you could definitely make it through this
you were winning
then suddenly as it was dying it lashed out
it damaged kronii
you immediately struck it dead and rushed to her side
she looked hurt
badly
"anon, please don't forget me"
she said your name
"i-i love you anon, please"
this was the first time she had said this to you
you begged her not to leave you
"anon, I will miss you, I really don't want to go"
tears rolled down her cheeks
"but i... i-"
she immediately burst apart into many glowing shapes
this was how one of them died
you sobbed where she once was
you missed her terribly
all those great moments, erased
all the potential, destroyed
you had to go on however and pushed on
you were badly hurt from the battle covering your wounds with bandages
then it happened
"what are you doing?"
you turned around to the familiar voice
your site caught her, kronii
"do you need my help?" She asked in a cold voice
she hadn't greeted you like that in a while
she didn't seem to remember anything
"have you ever even met a god before?"
you watched in pain

I am the soothsayer, sorry if I put too much lore in the beginning, I liked the idea of the council arising from normal humans, I also liked the idea of certain actions affecting the god form, I may rewrite this subject someday if I get a better idea
