Akali, also known as Akai Ringo, was a Maretu inspired vocaloid artist during the years 2016-2024. She mainly used Otomachi Una, GUMI, and Hatsune Miku. Most of her work is archived onto youtube, with some possibly still lost.
On January 22nd 2025, Akali was pronounced dead due to undisclosed circumstances by one of her close friends. Akali died in December of that prior year, but was not fully confirmed till January.
I wish her work got more love. I believe that all Akali wanted was for her work to get love. She was very open to her work to be used by others for creative purpose. So, if you read this, please spread her work. I'll be attaching below places to find her work.
My favorite work of hers would have to be Child of God or Because You Mourned Me. I like most of her works. Recently, the people behind her account announced an album of her's dropping. I want to buy it if I can.
