i (((PERSONALLY))) am not a fan of what the community and culture as a whole has turned into, especially in recent times for what's supposed to be an "escape" for a lot of people and i also simply find "no doubles" people to be very toxic anyways. i am japanese myself and simply find it very funny that it's also mainly white people speaking about japanese culture and only started caring when they found a japanese word for it #LOL. if it brings you joy i am not here to rain on that parade but it has cultivated into something toxic and i prefer to stay away from that
