Dearest Mother,

It has been 30 days that we have held out here at Aperia facing wave after wave of attacks from the traitors. The news I am afraid grows worse and worse, as more of our so-called ‘friends’ have proven themselves to be vile backstabbing knaves, worthy of all contempt in the world. Luknights, Elfriends, Shirogane kishi-dan, Hoomen, Nousagis… All have sided with the vile Emperor over the Prince of Rushia.

Our valiant men, hold them off every day at great cost to ourselves, and the horrors that have been committed upon the citizenry keep flowing in. Mass executions, rapes, and unspeakable wicked acts committed by our beloved ‘friends’. Killing those who surrender to us is only just punishment for the wicked for their deeds. Indeed, it seems we have become barbarians ourselves through this fight, with each of us wearing collars showing the finger bones of the enemies we have slain. I count 27 from my own as I write this and am to add 27 more before they take me too.

By Rushia, Mikeneko and her Future Spirit, we will beat these ruffians back and hold Aperia until our people are able to leave. The greatest fleet the world has ever seen is being loaded at Aperia now, with two hundred thousand of our people on 400 ships; ready to make our way to the Heavenly and Sacred Chosen Land, over the Kizuna Ocean. Our brave sailors have had to beat back countless attacks from the Black Fleet, damned traitors, and even the opportunistic cannibals (May they be sent to hell! My wife willing.); But O yet remains ever victorious under the Banner of the Skull and the Key. We will prevail, dearest dead mother.

May She curse this land forever more with the absence of their beloved deities, kill all their pets, cause their tummies to hurt, and their minds grow cynical against those whom they patron. We shall remain evermore in Her spirit and trust, for now and for all times to come, Rumina.
