Brianne Lane "Sword of Justice"

"The Sword of Justice. Does that make me the sword of just-ice? Hehe. She gives a 100% so we got gotta give a 110% too. It's nice you can contact her any time of the day and she'll always lend you an ear. Us greenhorns have a lot to learn. But I try not to bother her when I don't really need anything. We're all so busy already."

"My patron Urist can be a weirdo sometimes. I mean, what else could I possibly tell her about The Sword of Justice that she doesn't already know? She's one of the greatest Luminaries in the City."

Boomo

"Luminary man! Can you believe it? Well there are quite a few of them now that I think about it. He's a little loud so you may be a put off by that. But he's a real big softie on the inside. Boomo's super duper strong and there's even a video of him bench pressing a car. He has some rotten luck with the senior luminaries. Doesn't stop him from trying of course. Just be firm and you won't have any problems."

"Grandpa warned me about certain kinds of men. Honestly I think he's just kind of slow, not actually evil like the enemy. The first time I met the guy he took one look at me and said 'Nope.' Pfft."

Terri "Macavity the Witch"

"Those corpo jerks need a taste of their own medicine every now and then. I don't get what's so wrong with taking the fight to the enemy. And it's unfair how much slack she gets from some people. Word of advice: don't ever call Macavity cute, especially when she's a kitty cat. If looks could kill..."

"I see her around. It's okay if she doesn't recognize me, although I can't help but worry a little. She seems so tired all the time. Maybe she just needs more sleep or something."

"Who doesn't love big robots? Mister Gunman's been around for a long long time. Grandpaps always said threads don't make the man. And Suits are people too so they can't all be that bad. I think it's crazy working from the inside. Like a spy! If the Old Guard accept him why can't we?"

Penelope Angel "Argus Panoptes"

"Panoptes is one of the sweetest girls around. You can't go wrong with her even if you tried. Those ribbons are pretty sweet too! It's almost like they're alive. Ever seen a ribbon daisy-chain? She's like... your friend's friend's friend, but also your friend, you know?"

"I wish I could be like that just even a little. Maybe one day. I just have to keep trying step by step. Then something'll happen for sure."

Biotech Tinker Build (V.2)

"V.V.? V2? Regardless how you say it he's got a lot going on at times. Almost out of a movie or something. But you've got to give it to him. A gadget for every problem - it's impressive! Grandpaps always said the right tool makes all the difference. I was a little surprised when I found out he was a guy though. I mean, with a skincare routine like that? Makes the rest of us look like we just rolled out of bed. I'm just joking and I'm glad he's on our side."

Kore "Magical Girl - Viscera!"

"Magical Girl- Viscera! Wowie that's a mouthful but it doesn't sound right if you don't say the entire thing. Her magic's a little much but she's one us. Plus she's so cheerful. Admittedly some of her critters can be a little gnarly but you can tell she really loves them. She's got a wicked imagination, has a name for every single one, and looks seriously upset when they get hurt...that's gotta count. It's not their fault they look scary - they're just trying to help her fight the bad guys."

"It's my selfishness that thinks she might even be feeling 'lonely'. Even still I would like to be her friend."

Lotte Wagenknecht "Blitz Cannon"

"Her outfit's really cute. I like it. When Blitz Cannon's around everything turns into a real fireworks show. Although a lot of the references she makes just fly over my head. I never thought karate chops actually worked until now. How awesome is that? She's pretty cool you almost forget that she isn't Old Guard yet."

"There's a lot of folks back home who don't trust the law, but she seems different."

Jane "???"

"Ah...it's not good to gossip. I can't imagine what she's been through. But if she's willing to go into the belly of the beast. We have to prove her sacrifices mean something. I don't agree with the cynicism. That's all. If the world becomes a kinder place everything we do should be worth it. Wherever evil wields power a Luminary appears. Every single time."

Akira Hiro "Black Hare"

"Okay, so she's unconventional but you have to be when you're up against the Big Three. Besides, a little fashion hasn't hurt anyone, even if the whole emo thing goes against regular tastes. What really doesn't help is Black Hare being a real jokester. A giant spider toy in the lockeroom is a lil mean but not really bad per se. I was thinking newspapers are a little old-fashioned, but they keep stuff for us in the know."

Catherine Ohara "Paladin"

"You see? We're winning! Let them give us an inch we'll take a mile. Things can get scary but that's how the enemy acts. Paladin shows that fear can be overcome. We don't have to let the world change us if we don't want too. Though imagine a Luminary in office, kinda dizzying but it makes you think if the City can be changed from the inside."

"I wonder how long the Old Guard has been at it. Maybe I'll join their ranks one day. Not sure how to feel about that."

Gloria

"Urist has a lot of beneficiaries all over so you're bound to encounter another follower sooner or later. Sometimes a Symbol of Urist needs to be drawn somewhere new so it's good to know people so we can coordinate better. Especially since our friendly neighborhood patron can be vague with her requests. Gloria's a great shot leaving less collateral damage than me, that's for certain."

"She doesn't seem like she's trying to impress anyone, just doing the work. I guess there's more than one way to be a Luminary. Don't know why but it feels relieving."

Deborah "Virtuoso"

"Luminaries save everyone, we fight to make the world a brighter place. The people she's trying to help? That's us, everyone who gets forgotten by the suits masters, even the suits. Grandpaps always said you gotta stand up for your own. Together we can turn the tide. I have a dream now, and it's one you all created. My dream...is being a Luminary!"

"Would Pop-pop be mad if he knew what I was doing? Possibly. But I owe it to everyone back home to pay back their kindness. Deborah's the only one who seems to really fight for people like us. Maybe she could teach me how to do that too."

Louis Finnegan

"He's been through so much, no wonder he's tired. But giving up isn't the answer. It just can't be. Mister Finnegan has a lot to say about all sorts of things. Although it's a little hard finding him in the first place. Billions must die? I don't think I've heard him say something so awful. You shouldn't make stuff up. It's kicking a man while he's down."

"It's a little dangerous to rough it out alone. But if Boomo is watching out for him, I think he'll be alright. They're like night and day but maybe that's what makes it work. He's intense but everyone has their own way of dealing with pressure. Boys seem to have it bad maybe that's why there's so little of them among us."

"I've never actually met someone without a patron before. The fact they let us deny them speaks a lot about the Light. Although it's hard to imagine life with their boons. But people have a lot of reason to why they are what they are. Just remember he's a Luminary not a corpo sorcerer."

Meliara "Herald of Mother Nature"

"There's not a lot of green anywhere nowadays. Grandpaps said it was different a long time ago. Makes sense Mother Nature would be upset about that. Parks don't really count in the face of skyscrapers. The Dark only deals in extremes so it just has to be this way. At least someone's fighting for what's left."

"Fishing isn't exactly natural. I better not bring that up. People have to be more important in the grand scheme of things."

Leonardo "Leo" Angelo

"I think the saying goes 'fear the fury of a gentleman? When he fights, there's no messing around just straight to business. Leo seems to know a lot about being a 'Magical Girl', maybe he was chosen because he's so well prepared. A little shocking seeing how different he is outside in person."

Leila-Soleil Gris "Equinox"

"The Circle is lucky to have her... even if they're middle of the road on pressing issues. Although whatever plan she's talking about sounds complicated and is beyond me. How do you fight something so big? Equinox must see something I don't if the Pures see potential in her. That might just be their unique thought process."

"Reptilian Overlord. What a creep. I'm still thinking of something cool when we eventually fight. How's "Hell will freeze over before your ambition sees the light of day!'? hehe. Okay it needs some work but I feel so cool saying it. Let his mooks see the real meaning of cold blooded."
