Background

Kosshi has no love for the villages or shinobi. This is not her home, and they are neither kin nor comrades. All these same, she's been placed in the academy as a result of her family's circumstances. If it will spare her mother's tears and make er father proud, then she will obediently comply and serve as one of the village's weapons. It's not the first time.

She comes off as a cold, pessimistic, and generally unsociable, making no effort to get along with her peers and treating any attempts to approach her with suspicion. They want something, hoping to take advantage of her by feigning friendship, she's certain. The academy's teachers are just as bad in her eyes, but at least they're transparent about what they want. Really, this iciness is how she treats most people, only really changing in the presence of her parents. The only other time the bitterness seems to melt away is when she's dancing, though it's unlikely for one to catch her doing do so. None of this is to say she's ill-mannered, however. She maintains a polite if somewhat blunt demeanor, only getting more abrasive when others continuously push her boundaries. At such a point, she has no qualms about rebuking them with force.

Her past isn't something Kosshi is forthcoming about, but the Hyuuga blood is as evident in her as it is in her mother. More revealing is her use of Gentle Fist. What isn't obvious at a glance is the other bloodline she shares—the Kaguya's. The exact circumstances under which her parents met are not clear to her, but she understands that it must not have been pleasant. Her mother certainly did not celebrate her birth. Those who did were worse, seeing her as a tool. The possession of the Clan. Still, they learned to love each other, and her. It's why they fled and eventually found themselves in the Land of the Moon. Deserters and thieves in the eyes of Clan, and ones who cannot be let off lightly. It's not a question of if, but when, and it's that read that drives Kosshi to become strong enough that she might not be ripped away from them.

In combat, she favors taijutsu, using what's learned from her mother to target her foes' tenketsu. The control she has of her hair allows her allows her apply further pressure by using locks as additional points of contact, bind them, or use like projectiles. The Shikotsumyaku also offer defensive and offensive benefits, but she is reluctant to use techniques involving her second bloodline around others. It will only draw more attention to herself, which is the last thing she wants. However, using it she also make use of bone constructs in an overwhelming weapon style.
