Favoritism inside Nijisanji EN

The initial six members of Nijisanji EN were recruited from the same audition. 
Lazulight made their debut slightly before Obsydia. I will compare them starting from 2021 & going forward by showing:

• The sponsored streams
• The merch opportunities
• The physical events

if we are missing a sponsored stream, merchandise opportunity, or in-person event then leave a comment so that we can modify the statistics.

The sponsored streams

Let's talk about the original six, Lazulight & Obsydia.
Selen Tatsuki had to be looked up through: https://archive.ragtag.moe/channel/UCV1xUwfM2v2oBtT3JNvic3w (some vods are lost)
since everything was removed or made private and was no longer visible on playboard.co.

• List of metrics, from 02-18-2024 - of the sponsored streams

To put this in perspective. Let’s say a sponsor pays you 4K on average per stream.

• In comparison to someone like Elira, Selen has more views on sponsored streams, superchats, and subscribers.
• Pomu outperforms Elira as well, with twice as many superchats and more subscribers.

However looking at the results of giving sponsors to the livers. You can conclude this did not translate to business opportunities for Selen and Pomu. This is strange, to put it mildly, when one looks only at the numbers. For a complete breakdown of the numbers, refer to attachment 1 under this paper.

The merch opportunities

Non group: solo or non-wave participations

Since we do NOT know the specific merch number we do need an example for calculation sakes. So let’s say that Nijisanji makes 100K with every merch deal on average. Now we can do the math for what the livers might get out of this so you can compare them among each other.

• The 100,000 is a made up number to help calculate and showcase an imbalance between the different livers visually.

100,000x0.02 (2%) = 2,000 per liver per opportunities.
Example:
Selen Tatsuki (2,000 x22 = EUR44,000)
Elira Pendora (2,000 x30 = EUR60,000)

The reason why voice packs are not included is because this is up to the liver on a volunteer basis. The livers can choose to be a part of this or not themselves.

Needless to say, the metrics of attachment 1 still apply. Meaning Selen has more subs, superchats then someone like Elira. Pomu also has more superchats and subcribers. In other words there is an imbalance when looking at the numbers,

Let’s say you are a sales person. You’re working for a company and you have coworkers. You sell and outperform your coworkers on many levels, however at the end the year you learn you get paid a lot less in salary and commissions than other coworkers that did not perform at your level. In western culture this would raise many questions about; work ethic, favoritism and other factors. You would want to know why they got these opportunities instead of you.

The physical events

Again If I’m missing events, merch, sponsors feel free to correct and it will be adjusted if source is true.

Since we do not know the specific numbers of what Nijisanji pays the liver per event. We will make an estimate of EUR 2000 per liver per event on average for an appearance.

Conclusion

To summarize and taken into account the views and amount of subscribers of the livers. You can see there is clear favoritism when looking at a numeric standpoint.
Remember I made those calculation with fictive sale numbers for caparison to showcase the difference? From the original 6 members here is the subtotal:

Sponsors + merch + events = total

Lazulight has been favored as a wave and within the wave Elira Pendora had special treatment because more business opportunities where provided to her by Nijisanji EN.
