Anxiety coursed through you as the tannoy announced the arrival of the flight.
You had been at the airport hours prior, in eager anticipation to see her again. It may have only been a week, but it was the longest week of your life.
You pace up and down, trying to look into the doors of the arrivals, any sign of her would set you at ease.
The nervous energy was overpowering, you had to keep cool for Kronii though. No rushing forward or letting her know how much you missed her; you had to be strong.
15 minutes past. Where was she? Was she safe? Was she on the plane? The worst circumstances flooded your mind, you had held back indulging them the past week but every second that ticked by the harder it was to not break down into an overthinking mess.
Then the arrival doors opened.
Two distinctive blue bangs peaked from the crowd.
You saw her face.
That gorgeous face you missed for so long, looking almost anxiously around.
Eyes meeting.
You certainly failed your task to keep your composure, you had sprinted up to Kronii and gave her the biggest bear hug you had ever given, sweeping her off her feet. Her luggage dropped to the side as she let go and hugged back.
Kronii's warmth, her scent, her love. It was an intoxicating brew that broke you down.
"Kroniichiwa to you too!" She tried her best to gather her composure, giggling at how cute you were; your emphatic reaction to seeing her again.
Her arms were hung around your neck, helping pull you into a long, passionate smooch that could have lasted an eternity.
Her soft lips were a blessing to feel once again, her writhing tongue clashed with yours as you drank each other in.
She pulled away slowly, her hot and steamy panting tickled your face. You both stared and smiled at one another, ready to go again.
"Excuse me, lovebirds, but you're blocking arrivals"
A firm hand gripped your shoulder as a security guard scowled, pointing to Kronii's bags that were strewn on the marble flooring.
Embarassed but content, you hurry to pick everything up and leave quickly, Kronii locking her arm around yours, leaning into you and laughing.
She was back. She was home. You were happy again.
