I was strolling in the town when out the corner of my eye
I saw a scruffy npc beckoning me
He said, "I never seen a mage, who looks so out of place
Oh would you like some fun adventuring?
I'll pay you a fine price, your journey will be nice
And you can clear some goblins on the way."
I said, "I'd like to but I'm broke, got anything that pays more gold?"
He looked at me and this is what he said:
"Oh there ain't no quest for you wizard
Only fetch jobs for thee
I got mobs to slay, collect drops for me
No dragons or castles here for ye
Oh no, I won't give you, a better job
Though I know, you wish I could
Oh no there ain't no quest for you wizard
How 'bout you go find me some wood?"
Not even fifteen minutes later I'm still walking in the town
When I saw a shadowed NPC gone from the light
I thought "Well hey look there's a rogue, surely he's got a monstrous foe"
But it was clear he didn't need me for a fight
He said, "Find all of these furs, I'll give you money for your plight
After you finish come back you can do it twice"
I told him, "I'd like all that cash, but first things first I gotta ask
You don't got something more for me to fight?"
He said, "Oh there ain't no quest for you wizard
Only fetch jobs for thee
I got mobs to slay, collect drops for me
No dragons or castles here for ye
Oh no, I won't give you, a better job
Though I know, you wish I could
Oh no there ain't no quest for you wizard
How 'bout you go get me some food?"
Well now a couple hours passed and I was sitting at my desk
All the fetch jobs were done, I was looking for a quest
And so I talked to NPCs and checked with the royalty
And what I saw excited me to near no end
I saw a kingly NPC, so slowly approaching me
With a quest marker floating right above his crown
But even now my hopes aren't up because I know he's just the same
There's not a single good quest in this whole damn town
You know there ain't no quest for a wizard
Only fetch jobs for me
They got mobs to slay, collect drops for fees
No dragons or castles I can see
Oh no, they won't give me, a better job
Though I know, I wish they could

I guess I'll close this game for good"
