An Onobot and Genocide

This is a tale from a long time ago, before the Retro Reich was united as one. It was just at the dawn of night. Thousands of Onobots stood at the lower end of a Hill, on top of it was a massive army, the whole Alphanet Clan had assembled to fight on this day, their army almost 50,000 strong and vastly outnumbering the Onobots. Unknown to them, on this day, they would fight a battle to determine the fate of their clan, but never would have anyone expected what was to come.

Insert epic battle, Cavaliere charging at the Onobots, one Onobot has a Zweihänder and cuts cleanly through the neck of a horse and halves the rider. Another take a horse at its neck, stopping it in its track, he then lifts the horse up, having the rider fall down and then bashed the rider on the floor with his own horse to death, then the Onobot throws the horse into the enemy army. The Clan prepared a firetrap where part of the place has barrels full of oil hidden, fire arrows ignite them and the Onobots are engulfed in flame, but they don't care and marsh forward, they take enemy infantry and lift them above them, then rip open their torsos and have the blood and guts doze the flames.

The army was obliterated, those that tried to flee were hunted down by Onobots that were hidden around the Hill to kill off any escapees. But the night was just beginning, the Onobots moved on to the camps and towns of the Alphanet clan.

Onobots throw every candle, torch, etc. and set everything aflame, they hunt down every person. A woman tries to run away with her child, but an Onobot throws a harpoon through her stomach. She falls, and her baby falls to the ground, crying from the pain of the impact. Before her, with her last strength, she tries to crawl to her baby, but the Onobot catches up and before her very eyes he tramples the baby into mush. Then he pulls out the harpoon in a crude manner in order to destroy her innards and kill her with the motion. He moves on, looking for his next target. Somewhere else an Onobot walks the street, suddenly he stops and looks at a wooden wall. His arm breaks through the wall and as he pulls his arm out again, his hand is holding the ripped off head of an elderly man, that was hiding behind the wall, he drops it and begins moving again, the hunt shall go on.

As the slaughter continued, one Onobot was carrying a beat up person with him, it was the „princess“ of the Alphanet clan. In his shrill voice, he screamed.

„Why? Why are you doing this? Even if you hate me, why kill all these people?“ The Onobot stopped for a moment, looking at him.

„You have proven yourself a worthless existence, and you have disgraced us Onobots by making us break a promise. We shall make sure that the tainted blood of your clan can never again give birth to one such as you ever again by exterminating them all. And you shall live till the end as to witness the consequences of your sin, so that you may never forget it within the void.“

By the end of the night. Over 100,000 people had lost their lives and what remained were burned ruins and mountains of corpses desecrated so foul that not even corpse plunderers dared come close to the region for a long time.

A few weeks earlier. An Onobot was sitting in a grass field, trying his best to weave together flowers as the person next to him has shown him. This person was a young girl, just about´to hit adolescence, she was wearing a simple summer dress in beige that was covered in grass stains from playing around. She was wearing a flower crone and was holding a second one in her hands that she just finished. Standing up, she put the crown on the Onobot with a big grin.

„Look Ravi, now you are a cute princess just like me!“ The girl looked very satisfied at the work she had done, nodding to herself.

„I was not aware you had the authority to declare nobility upon people.“

„Silly Ravi, don't you know my father is making me marry the princess of the Athena Clan? Once our clans unite, we will be the strongest in the whole region and I will be a super important person. But don't worry, we can still be friends and I promise I shall protect you well.“ The girl puffed out her chest, trying to stand as proud as possible at her statement.

„Friends?... very well, then I shall promise to protect you too, as friends.“
