One of /luxnoc/’s local specialties. The taste and effect seem to vary greatly depending on the source, perhaps due to the effects of the local chuubanite being transferred to the milk through the producer’s food intake. Not all locales produce boymilk in large enough quantities for exportation. The ones that do are the following:
Kindred
Thicker than cow’s milk, boymilk produced by Kindred has an aphrodisiac effect, heightening sensitivity and libido as well as stamina. Due to the rarity of male kindred, demand tends to exceed supply, landing this type of milk on the pricier side. For an additional fee, you may be allowed to drink straight from the source.
Yaminions
With a gentle, mild flavor and rumored to increase both short term memory and affinity for chuubanite, this type of boymilk is popular among scholars and alchemists.
Comfydants
This milk increases focus and alertness. The taste is often compared to sheep’s milk. Its clean, rich flavor and stimulating effect make it popular as an everyday drink. The crash is mild to nonexistent, but overconsumption will worsen it exponentially. Mix with caffeine at your own risk.
Stargazers
Extremely sweet and creamy, this milk tastes almost like a dessert. As a product blessed by the Empire’s Oracles, this is an incredibly expensive luxury good. Benefits are largely cosmetic: rejuvenating dry skin, promoting hair growth, and so on. However, it is also rumored to briefly increase one’s good fortune. Addictive. Drinking more than two bottles a day is strongly discouraged.
