What does the average Joe wear daily?

Rosebutas in general tend to wear leathers, though the style changes depending on location. Tunnelhogs typically wear leather tunics with a rose petal design, foregoing legwear the majority of the time. Things such as hats are never worn, as that would mean covering up the flower that grows on their head. Shoes are also not worn, due to their hoof-like feet resulting in a lack of necessity. Since all Tunnelhogs are regarded as male in appearance, there is no change in clothing between Rosies and Boars. Sunwalkers wear furred leather, either their own fur or that of a polar bear's, covering their body. The fur is typically tucked under the leather, but may be presented on the outside for fashion purposes. Unlike Tunnelhogs, Sunwalkers will wear furred hoods to cover their heads and keep warm. They wear leather pants as well, though a simple version without any fur. For shoe-wear it's almost always boots, for traversing through snow.

Any formal dress impacted by tradition/culture?

Tunnelhogs wear formal clothing to all eating occasions, unless eating alone. They wear full leather suits with a wide variety of ties. Nearly every Tunnelhog has a unique, custom tailored tie to match their own personality. The quality of the tie typically depends on the wealth or popularity of the individual, though all are rather elaborate looking by nature. Unlike with normal clothing, Tunnelhogs do have specially made pants for their suits. Sunwalkers have no formal clothing in their culture, but will wear formal clothes provided by Tunnelhogs when dining with them.

Fashion being split by class or regional differences?

Tunnelhogs have many slight variations with each individual Dome they live in. For example, the Brosemi Dome has a habit of wearing sunglasses anywhere they go, the Clownsemi Dome paints their noses a bright red, etc. However, all normal Tunnelhogs have around the same fashion. Overseers do have their own fashion though, wearing long pink leather robes with a flowery design and usually a pair of green tights underneath. Sunwalkers wear the same clothes, with small variations depending on tribe, but the leading Vice President of the tribe will always be wearing some adorning bones that they won as a trophy during hunts. The Vice President will also have the image of a ribbon with sparkles tattooed on the left side of the hip.

Climate or other fantastical wackery making certain attire a necessity?

Tunnelhogs don't have to deal with the cold in most occasions due to living underground, but Sunwalkers will frequently wear fur and leather due to the chill of the aboveland.

Food

What crops do your people grow for consumption?

Things like rye, wheat, peas, cabbage, turnips, carrots, garlic, etc. Some plants, while not normal for /rose/'s climate, are carefully grown underground by Rosebutas. Things like tomatoes, strawberries, and various other fruits. These are typically on the scarcer side, being available only to those that can quickly buy it first, and can't really be exported or anything.

What about the food you import, and from where?

To be honest, I can't remember much about imports. I'm pretty sure we are getting cocoa and probably nuts from /risu/ soon.

Do you have unique delicacies?

Nope.

What's common snacks or meals for the working class, or the rich and powerful?

A lot of meals are more Italian in nature, with lasagnas and pizzas and pasta and such.

Any food reserved for ritual purposes?

Baked things, like cupcakes or cookies, are regarded as treats from the Lovedaughter herself.

How about etiquette when eating?

Tunnelhogs are very particular about eating. There is silverware designed for many different things and even finger food is meant to be handled delicately and with manners. No Tunnelhog is ever caught eating without a suit, unless alone at home. Discussion during mealtime is kept strictly for before eating, during the halfway point, and afterwards. None are to be talking while eating and it is proper to wait for the rest of the table to be halfway through eating when desiring to speak. Special silverware is made for salads, lasagna, pasta, soup, bread, drink mixing, taste testing, etc. It is extremely important to be able to tell what silverware is for what at just a glance. Snacking is absolutely forbidden, eating is only acceptable during established times, though it isn't considered rude to skip a meal. Breakfast begins at 6:00 AM, Pre-Lunch begins at 10:00 AM, Lunch begins at 12:00 PM, Post-Lunch begins at 3:00 PM, Dinner begins at 6:00 PM, Post-Dinner begins at 8:00 PM, and Sweetnight begins at 10:00 PM.
Sunwalkers have no etiquette and eat whenever they feel the need to. Due to this, Tunnelhogs despise eating with Sunwalkers.

Any special practices during mealtime?

Rosebuta couples will typically feed each other during mealtime, from each other's plates. The couple is expected to know what to order for their partner as well, it's seen as a judgement of their capability as a partner.

Entertainment

What kinds of entertainment is popular for your people?

Rosebutas love karaoke and among most it is the best for entertainment. It's not needed for one to be good at singing, in fact Rosebutas tend to enjoy those who can't sing more than those who can. In a similar vein there's an enjoyment of music in general, playing instruments like the ocarina or blast organ.

How important are they seen as part of life?

Entertainment isn't vital, but it is seen as a nice stress reliever or way of bonding with others. "Karaoke is the projection of sovl." is a popular Rosebuta phrase.

Do different class people have sufficiently different tastes?

Enterainment is seen as the one thing that bonds even the most antagonistic of Tunnelhogs and Sunwalkers, so they all share similar tastes.

How much does the chuuba gods play a role in these entertainments?

The Lovedaughter is described as having the sound of an angel with the tune of a snapped string, so it's a voice most Rosebutas strive to mimic.

Religion

What religious rituals does your nation have to worship its deities?

Beyond the usual prayer, Tunnelhogs take the time to grow their own gardens to show their faith. The more vibrant and alive one's garden is tends to be seen as a direct relation to how strong their faith is. Karaoke can also be seen as religious for Rosebutas, with various songs regarded as hymns being sung. Overall Rosebutas don't have many rituals that they take time out of their day for, because living the most enjoyable life they can is believed to be the strongest method of worshipping the Lovedaughter.

What's the religious structure look like?

The Tunnelhog Overseers of /rose/'s many domes come together like priests, with the Grand Overseer being their equivalent of the Pope. The Grand Overseer makes all main decisions for /rose/ as a whole, with the Overseers providing advice and suggestions. Sunwalkers worship the Lovedaughter under a different name, referring to her as "President". Each tribe leader is a Vice President and comes together to form a second religious council. The VP Council and Overseer Council are equal, but are subservient to the Grand Overseer as a whole.

What's the official stance on other faiths?

Rosebutas maintain an overall indifference to other faiths. They aren't antagonistic, but they are far from willing to convert to other faiths due to how ingrained their own worship is in their culture.

Alcohol and Drink

what do your people drink and what's is it made from?

The usual drink of choice is Vodka made from rye. Other alcohols do probably exist, but I'm not an alcoholic so don't ask me too much about drinks. At the very least, Rosebutas try to make drinks with very high ABV.

what sort of culture is there around drinking in your split?

Alcohol is consumed in minor amounts, but is also infrequently done. There isn't a stigma against drinking, but it is said that the Lovedaughter herself hardly, if ever, drinks. If alcohol is drunk, it is typically in a meeting between two close friends and done with small glasses. Rosebutas have no experience with heavy drinking or with alcohol that has low ABV. If faced with either of those, there's a good chance the Rosebuta would become very confused.
