Vex - Tyranitar

Gender: Male
Age: Less then a year old as a Pokemon, over 32 as a Human
Situation: Former human, killed in a robbery gone wrong while working in a museum
Appearance: A bit taller then normal Tyranitar, with longer spikes. Usually has an Expert Belt wrapped around his head, and carries a small travel bag filled with useful items.
Home and Haunts: Has a room at the guild, with the door being painted to match his colors. Has a special spot in a cliff face near the guild, which he carved out the entrance to himself with the help of Vio. Frequents the local cafe, but has recently tried to go to other places for food due to strained relations with Mewt.
Occupation: Guild member of Oasis

Personality and Backstory:
As a human, he was born in Germany and lived there for many years before moving with his family to America. There he lived a quieter but just as successful life as his older brother, finding himself working at a WW2 museum. His life was sadly taken when the museum was robbed, but not before taking one of the robbers with him.
As a Pokemon, he was reborn inside an egg that was buried above the guildhall that he now lives and works at. While glad to be given another chance of life with his memories intact, he was not content with staying as a Larvitar for long, leading to an obsession with evolving as fast as he could. This involved diving into many dangerous dungeons, and even getting into conflict with his fellows, but it all paid off as he is now the terrifyingly strong Tyranitar today.

Vex cares a lot for his home, so is quick to anger when something threatens it, either from outside forces or from within. It's also easy to annoy him, but hard for him to hold grudges. On rare occasions, he'll slip back to speaking into speaking German to shout obscenities at whoever he's mad at.
To people he's just met, he's amicable and polite, willing to lend a hand if someone is in need of help and asked. This doesn't happen often though, as his reputation isn't the greatest among the locals after one of his jobs left many fairy types to flee their former home.
Formerly in a constant state of trying to get stronger, he spends his days dealing with trouble at home, doing jobs, investigating Legendaries, and trying to keep his heart from breaking again.
There are times where the weight on his shoulders crushes him, to the point of needing to get away for awhile to decompress, or find a friend to talk things through; he's not always so lucky to do so though, and it gets ugly when it happens.
When he falls in love, he falls hard, dedicating himself entirely to the one person he's given his heart out to. Even when his vice for the pleasures of the flesh have him seek out others for more fun, his heart will belong to them alone.

Relations to Other Characters:

• Sanaa - Former lover, broke his heart after breaking up with him and Zed from a messy love triangle. The pain is still there when thinking about her, but he doesn't want to leave things as they are, despite it all. Hopes to one day get back together. Haven't spoken since the breakup.
• Zed - Guild leader, butts heads often due to clashing personalities while also holding some resentment for being the other part of the former love triangle. Despite this, still works with him when a job needs done.
• Cato - Untrustworthy con artist forced under contract to him, he was hoping to shape them up into someone better, but with recent events having exposed them as being a (unconfirmed but highly suspected right now) drug addict, any goodwill between the two of them was shattered. Sent off to work under Audrey's watch while he deals with figuring out what Cato's been taking.
• Jack - Friends, recently acquired benefits, and fellow guild mates. Trying to become better friends by hanging out together more.
• Veg - Friendly with each other, helped make the contract Cato's under. The two of them can really work well together when it comes to planning a scare.
• Mewt - Former friends, relations became strained after a series of unfortunate events, a past conflict between Vex and her current boyfriend Wisp, and her objections to Cato's contract (without any knowledge about the details of said contract). While Vex wants to return to being friends, is unsure if Mewt would be willing to do the same.
