Treaty of Westphasia

All terms of this treaties were agreed upon by all parties involved directly in this war, as the arbitrator elected by their allies, the Empire of Nijisanji shall negotiate on the behalf of /voms/, /774/, and /aeg/.

This treaty is agreed upon in full by the Emperor of Nijisanji Tazumi Riku through His Imperial Majesty's Seitō Taishōgun, Mononobe Ieyasu and the Autokrator of the Syndeoneians, Ioannes V in the year of 1101 VTE

Article I:

The Empire of Syndeoneia will give up all of his conquests, end all occupations, and give up all claims to other realms. The provinces of Lumia and Yuria are exempt from this due to their own volition to join Syndeoneia from former Ayakkayolian Empire in the year prior to the war. To ensure this, the Sydneoneian Peacekeeping Council shall be established consisting of representatives from all nations involved in the war under the guidance of the Empire of Nijisanji.

Article II:

The Empire of Syndeoneia shall recognize these territorial changes to be true and everlasting as does the Empire of Nijisanji.

Article III:

Reparations for damages shall be paid to the Empire of Nijsanji and the other parties by the Empire of Syndeoneia for 30 years regularly. The only payment accepted is Gold and Silver and will be based on their purity as well by Anykarian debt collectors at their own discretion. Should these reparations be unable to be paid, compensation in other forms shall be determined by the Syndeoneian Peacekeeping Council, as established in Article I

Article IV:

The cession of the island of Antipatros and the Tsoumala Peninsula to the Empire of Nijisanji is formalized. The Empire of Nijisanji through the Mononobe Shogunate shall be permitted to build fortifications and naval facilities on these new territories and the Empire of Syndeoneia may not move any land forces within 5km of the Tsoumala Peninsula.

Article V:

The Empire of Nijisanji will be given first access to trade with the Empire of Syndeoneia through all ports. A reverse tariff on 10% shall be placed on all goods imported to Syndeoneia from Nijisanji. All Anykarian citizens, companies and custom offices shall operate under the laws of their own nation first. Merchants and investors from Nijisanji are also free to buy and operate their own businesses in Syndeoneia.

Article VI:

Arms production by the Empire of Syndeoneia shall be restricted to a reasonable quota for defensive purposes. This clause will be agreed upon separately when it becomes apparent what this quota should be

Article VII:

The Imperial Navy of Nijisanji has the right to inspect all shipping coming and going from Syndeoneian Ports to ensure fairness and the prevention of smuggling of contraband that may destabilize the nation.

Article VIII:

All forts, batteries, and seawalls in ports shall be dismantled under the supervision of officials of the Empire of Nijisanji and the Empire of Syndeoneia. These areas shall be considered demilitarized as well, with only minimal garrisons that are needed to protect against land threats for a period of 20 years.

Article IX:

Furthermore, the Empire of Nijisanji guarantees the independence of the Empire of Syndeoneia for a period of 30 years.

Article X:

Should the Empire of Syndeoneia infringe on any of the aforementioned clauses, the Empire of Nijisanji has the right to intervene personally to ensure that the treaty is upheld.

May this treaty bring peace and everlasting friendship between the two Empires and throughout the region
