Legend of The Three Goddesses

April 23rd, 1108

Pomerlane was struggling to sleep in his quarters at Pendoria. He had just arrived from Laodice and was ready to marry the love of his life, the Archduchess Emylia the next day. But he was extremely restless this night and could not fall asleep because of his anxiety. He tossed and turned, worried not over the Wedding itself but its aftermath. He knew that when word reached Magnus about what he had done, all of his gains over the past 6 years would be for nothing. As much faith in Pomu he had and trusted his own abilities, the Army of Selenium was too powerful for him to defeat. They were not the bubbling, outdated foe he faced in Syrenia but the strongest army in all of the Ninisani. He stood little chance in his own mind, and worried about what would happen to Emylia more than him. It wasn't as if he could postpone the wedding either at this point, because the two had been betrothed for 4 years now. The Archduchess was now 19 and it was seemingly increasing suspicious that she had not found a suitor and did not seem to be looking for one. It certainly didn't help that her cousin was spending time with her a lot to quell any rumors. As a cold sweat came over him, his door opened and he sat up, fearing it may be assassins from Magnus.

The three voices spoke up and said, "Do not fret, our child, for it is not assassin but LazuLight which has come to see you tonight.

Upon realizing the divine presence before him, Pomerlane came to his knees and asked
"Why have thou come to be among us today, most holy Divine Goddess? How may we serve thee?

Finana spoke first saying with a laugh "Sounds pretty sus to me!" Pomu and Elira both look at her with disgust and Finana bows her head before raising it to say "You have destroyed the home of my children and committed atrocities against them... But in doing so, you have cleansed my land and made it pure again... I am pleased with you and come to you to anoint you and your children as the divinely chosen rulers of my people." She pulls out an urn of olive oil "Take off thy loins and I will anoint you as such."

Pomerlane does as Finana asks, she anoints him with the oil stating "LazuLight will guide you and your children through the night." before moving his head to look at her in the face before kissing him on the head whispering " look in my eyes and you might find a shimmering light that will guide you through the night."

Pomu then says "You have shown your trust and faith in me at all hours, my child. Beyond this anointment, we come bearing two more things, Finana has anointed you as her champion and King, but Elira and I come with two more gifts."

Elira speaks next "You will marry my daughter, Emylia and have a fruitful marriage." Elira hands him a Crown, made of gold and many other gems but with a unique Diamond in the center which has all of the marks of the trinity engraved it in. "Take this, and rule as I would."

Pomu follows by stating "My son, follow me."

The three divines and Pomerlane all exist his room, he realizes that he is no longer in the land of the living but in some other world. Pomu directs him to a sword, glowing with light that is stuck in a tree trunk. "My son, remove this from the fallen tree." Pomerlane struggles to remove it but with all his might pulls it out from the trunk. Pomu then tells him "This is the the same sword Pomeranius used before you. It is called the Bringer of Light." Pomerlane marvels at the weapon. It is so finely crafted and was extremely well balanced, as if it were made just for him. Pomu noticing this stated "This was the same sword of Legend that my son Pomeranius used to defeat the Hydra and the Great Darkness. You will use it to restore order and bring light back to all of the peoples of the land."

The Three then stand before him and state "Go forth, our child, we will always be with you." before disappearing into the mist. Pomerlane magicially appears back into his room, with all three gifts. He is shocked by what has just happened but realizes that what he had just witnessed was not just a dream. His confidence was now restored and knowing that the three Goddesses of LazuLight were on his side, he fell asleep.
