Nations of the Holocontinent

Tokino Sora - /sora/ (Placeholder)

Considered to be the oldest of the nations. It is a quiet, dignified land with a great respect for art, culture, and science. Much of the country is baked in hot sands and arid winds which are mitigated by an exquisitely complicated irrigation and desalinization system. The people of this land are considered to be polite, if soft-spoken, and point proudly to their cultural heritage above all else. Their army is strong but small, relying on an elite cadre of warriors to keep their borders cleared. Because they are a generally nonaggressive nation, they do not often need to use force. Tokino Sora, their deity, is among the oldest and most respect of the gods. She is seen as wise, quiet, and kind. Her reputation combined with awe-inspiring power is in sharp parallel to her passivity and lack of action, with some even claiming that her power is weakening and the time will soon be nigh that the entire country crumbles

Mel Yozora, Choco Yuzuki, & Aki Rosenthal - mel, choco, & rosenthal (Placeholder)

These three nations recently unified as a means to protect themselves from their ambitious neighbors, and as such is a conglomeration of three cultures that now work together to survive. Those who worship Mel are a sect of nocturnal dwellers that wander the night, worshipping and practicing blood magic and hemo-worship freely. Those who worship Choco take great pride in the perverse arts, and consider pleasure to be a religious foundation of society to the point where crimes such as rape are punished with castration via a heated lance. Those who worship Aki are mainly focused on the study of the obscure and unusual. It is believed by others that they are half-breeds of another creature not yet known to the world at large, and their cultural origins are equally as mysterious. They are the rarest of the three, and were in immediate danger of extinction before being approached by the other two in the interest of an alliance. The relations between these three are cordial, but cultural differences result in underlying tensions that may tear this young nation apart before long. The gods however seem to get along just fine, for now, which is believed to be all that holds this land together

Shirakami Fubuki - /fbk/

This cold land is known for its kindness and neutrality, being equally willing to accommodate friends as it is to ignore the world's conflicts at large. Their god promotes friendship and kindness above all else. Spirituality and Shinto-esque religions dominate here, with foxes in particular being worshipped and kept as pets, and burgers being the national food. This country places great importance on individual happiness to the point that their industry and economy often suffers, though the people who live here are content to live in happy poverty as opposed to being stressed and overworked all the time. One notable aspect of this land is the outlawing of all forms of sexualization of their god, of which they consider sacrilege and warranting immediate exile of their lands. Marriage is also illegal, being seen as a huge social taboo that is greatly disliked by their god. It is customary to leave burgers on the front door or windowsill for wandering travelers, in the hopes that Fubuki will take them and bless good luck upon your house

Natsuiro Matsuri - matsuri (Placeholder)

Considered a bastion of relative normalcy among its many neighbors, the nation of Matsuri is known as a place of boundless joy and free democratic thought. A successful democracy with relatively few conflicts, their goddess encourages peace and happiness among their followers, as well as somewhat alarming amounts of voyeuristic behavior that have made them popular among the followers of Choco. Because their trade fleet is the largest in the northern oceans, they enjoy unparalleled economic success and often act as a intermediary between other northern nations, taking cuts of profit by acting as a third party to sell goods at. Those followers of Subaru have a noticeable grudge against this goddess and her followers, resulting in terroristic attacks that disrupt the otherwise peaceful state of this land

This former country was once the home of the goddess Subaru. An invasion from the skies by the followers of Airani Iofifteen struck the country low and its followers fled into the hills, with many resettling in /okfams/. Before its collapse, this country was known as a very moralistic one that was very aggressive to what it perceived to be as unpuritanical or lewd acts, and was considered to be highly conservative. In the global Olympics games, their teams were considered the greatest athletes of them all, though with the reduction of their goddesses power this has all but disappeared. Their secret police force was also highly active in the country, having turned it into an extremely effective police state before its destruction

Ookami Mio - /mion/ (Extinct Nation) (Placeholder)

This country has been superseded by /okfams/, which was created in the chaos of the collapse of /duck/ as well as an influx of the goddess Ayame's people into the goddess Mio's lands. It was formerly known for their vast woodlands and great amounts of wolves that roamed the territory, both wild and domesticated. Their religious beliefs were similar in foundation to that of the goddess /fbk/, which made the two nations friendly to each other. However its low population and general passivity made it vulnerable, and with the chaos of the collapse of neighboring /duck/ it was consolidated and reformed into a separate state by social revolutionaries

/okfams/ (Placeholder)

This chaotic and new state is held in place through a mixture of police state-like activities and shrewd strong-arm diplomacy. It is composed of the former followers of the goddess Mio's lands, which fell apart due to social pressure of the followers of Subaru migrating en masse to the state concurrently with the nomadic followers of Ayame settling the lands as well. What followed was a social uprising perpetrated by guerrillas that overthrew the government and declared a socialist republic which is representative of the six religious minorities inhabiting the state, those of Mio, Subaru, and Ayame, as well as the somewhat smaller minorities of Fubuki, Korone, and Okayu's followers. In truth, the revolutionaries heavily favor the followers of Mio in all aspects and repress the others, following an unofficial status quo of "some are more equal than others". However the lack of faith of the new government towards traditionalist Mio beliefs has upset the normally peaceful Mio believers, which has led to a slow boiling tension that threatens to erupt in a civil war that may tear this young nation apart before long

The Tokoyami Ward is a hivemind entity that is fanatically devout to their leader, Tokoyami Towa-sama, and are highly amicable and basically worship those who have befriended her, bestowing upon them the common title of, "Towafriend". Those part of the hivemind, at a glance, functions nearly the same as a typical individual would, with their own thoughts, identity, personality. However, once an idea, thought or goal has been introduced or created by the Kenzoku, it can quickly propagate amongst the populace overtaking most of an individual's individuality until time has been passed if merely a simple thought or the goal has been accomplished.

Himemori Luna - /luna/

Referred to as the Candy Kingdom and collectively as luknights, lunaitos, and lumen. Lunaitos are a culture inspired by traditional ideas of knighthood taken to the utmost extreme with every citizen, be they a fighter or not, wearing armor as their regular clothing and striving to work towards knightly greatness no matter what profession they take. The Candy Kingdom is largely made out of edible treats, gingerbread trees, jelly bean bushes, and chocolate pits are just some naturally occurring desserts.
Lunaitos all have unnaturally high blood sugar levels to the point where their fluids and flesh are sweet to taste. They are ruled by the Hime Vessel, a forever young representation of the lunar goddess Himemori Luna who is protected by an honored guard of Elite Lunaitos.

Calliope Mori - /morig/

The Deadbeats' bones have been hardened by centuries of endless schizo raids, attacks on their land and faith from other nations, civil warfare setting Deadbeat against Deadbeat in useless, bloody conflicts. The people who remain on the island are those who did not cower, did not recoil, did not run in the face of adversity. Those pressures have forged the people of Moriji into the relentless, undying men and women we find today. Their love for Their Mori has turned their skin white and their bones to steel, and they sail a fearsome navy to take the fight to those who would dare assault their home. In the Underworld, deadly shrine maidens guard Mont Mori, where the Goddess awaits the Last Battle on the mountaintop. In the streets of their cities, the Deadbeats hold up a man's liberty to choose his path to meeting Mori as the primordial principle around which their society is organized. In the harbors, they welcome the foreign and the exotic with open arms; if you can find in yourself love for Mori, you will find friends in Moriji.
If you approach their land with sword in hand and heresy on your mind, however, heed these words: Deadbeats Fear not the Reaper; she's an old friend, who will welcome your blasphemous soul as warmly as any other.

The Tribal Confederation of Risu is a nation of humanoids with squirrel tails and ears. They are known for using a variety of nuts as their currency instead of traditional coin as well as their extreme obsession with sex. Prostitution is not only accepted but encouraged to foreigners. Risuners are so obsessed with their countries natural beauty that they try to keep foreign intervention at the beaches and lumber chopping is highly regulated. Deep within the forests are witches that use gemstones for magic purposes and even grow gems out of trees underground in secret caverns. They have a famous capitol punishment called the "geese chamber" which is just a pit filled with monstrous man eating geese.

Kureiji Ollie - /zomg/ (Placeholder)

In this land, only the dead walk, and the living do not exist, for those who trespass into these haunted, frozen lands are swiftly killed and turned into the followers of the mad dead goddess, Ollie. Said to have been slain in battle long ago, her followers were gifted with the knowledge to prolong their lives through their own deaths. Now, despite rotting and decaying, the people of this land are quite happy. They're so happy in fact they wish to extend this happiness to others and have you join their family, by slaying you, your loved ones, and your little dog too, and then raising you into an eternal life of undeath. The oldest of Ollie's followers are little more than liches and skeletons, though this doesn't bother them in the slightest. They are on unfriendly terms with all other nations as a result (though they themselves would not consider it so), especially those of the lost goddess Rushia and her remnant, of whom they are believed to have played a part in her destruction. Travelers beware! All who step foot in these lands are at risk, and few ever return...

Once upon a time people from the sky fell to Vtubia in a massive white boat. These people call themselves Sanalites. Their mission is to search the galaxy to find the best ingredients to bake the best bread in the universe for their goddess, Tsukumo Sana, the speaker of space. The spacemen established a base they called NASA, the National Alliance of Space Aussies. Although their time on Vtubia is short they won over their neighbors with delicious space food that never went bad, breads, and desserts. Sadly the Sanalites did not stay long. Sana announced her leave from Hololive Council ten months after NASA's establishment. Without a god the Sanalites were alone.
That was when the schizos of the northern wastelands attacked. Even with their superior space technology the Sanalites were no match for the schizo's numbers. Out of the five thousand Sanalites that landed only three hundred remained after the attack. The women and children were forced to flee NASA while the rest of the men stayed behind to fight schizos to the death. Who knows what happened to the last Sanalites of NASA. Some say the Sanalites' star ship is still around. Others say the ship took off to the sky and flew away. Even if the Sanalites are gone hopefully they will not be forgotten.
The Sanalites had a simple motto: work hard and party harder. Using their technology, machines, and education Sanalites were able to produce more food than they could eat. So Sanalites spent their spare time after harvest with other hobbies and competitions. Often times Sanalites created competition with their machines to create “augmented reality hologram worlds”. Sanalites used these holograms to show plays without real people. Sanalites also used these holograms to create interactive games where anything can happen. One game had a pink puff-ball who sucked up stuff and spitted them out at monsters.
Perhaps this was the Sanalites' downfall in the end. They were not prepared for the thousands of schizos who struck at their weakest hour. The spacemen where unprepared to fend off the endless schizo hordes. Nevertheless NASA will be remembered as a shining light in the darkest place in the world.

/meat/

The tropical people of /meat/ is a deeply religious people, who have burdened themselves with the responsibility of consuming vtuber gods through their followers in an attempt to stave off the collapse of heaven due to overpopulation. Their religious fervour, enhanced by macabre magic, has driven them to utilize every bit of their prey to great effect.
/meat/heads are a seafaring people, searing the image of great raiding fleets into the collective consciousness of many of its targets, long after their naval dominance was contested. While smaller raids continue to happen against undefended coasts, /meat/have since expanded its seeming omnipresent cult of cannibalism and sadomasochism across the world, subtly influencing other countries and securing more discrete food sources.
Despite their infamy, /meat/heads are remarkably friendly towards visitors and others outside their raids. In addition to a strong sense of sacred hospitality, some of the more enterprising /meat/heads have utilized /meat/'s unique tropical environment and ecosystem to trade with the rest of the world. Some welcome what they see as the beginning of /meat/'s reformation into a "normal" country, while others are worried by what they consider to be but another façade of the ever-expanding cult.
