The Bunny Hops.

“Ahhh, not like that! Dammit!” She grunted. The rhythm was complicating her.

“I almost had it peko-! Stop laughing at me!” Pekora turned towards her brother, who then came from behind…

Flabbergasted, Pekora spun the CD in her hands. The crude traces of a black marker spelt:

“Kou-nter E-Esotriku.” She read the title. A strange relic found in her attic. Asking her brother for help, he laughed as he installed it for her on an old DELL desktop. From the moment he booted up the computer she was pestering him.

“What’s this button do?” She tapped the screen.

“Quit it…”

“Oh, what’s this one?”

“Peko, you know how to use a computer.”

“Stop calling me Peko, peko!” She fumed, her face scrunching in the face of cringey realization, and irked by the triumphant laughter of her brother. This little…!

Soon as he was done, she propelled herself forward on her chair, bumping her brother’s arm.

“What do we say?~” Her brother teased her.

“Go die in a fire.” Pekora scoffed. “... Thank you, aniki.”

“Okey.” He walked out.

“So so, Kounter eshtrikou!” Pekora booted up a map. Overwhelmed by the presence of the bots, she fiddled with some settings until she was alone on the map. The next hour she spent it toying with the controls and the bots. Naturally, after 40 minutes of playing, she had to go pro. Google-san helped dearly by teaching her the basics of bhopping.

Booting up de_dust2, she practiced the jumps, the tapping of A and D, swapping her jump to the mouse scroll wheel, and she just couldn’t bhop.

She muttered to herself as she practiced. “Up-peko, down-peko, left right, left- dammit- Damn shit game…”

And from the hall she heard her brother laugh. Turning towards his voice, Pekora tells him to shut up, and as her eyes turn to the screen, her character gets sniped.

“What!? But I was- There’s no-!”

And in the killfeed, she saw 'ok. ︻デ═一 playername'. On the Killcam, another player. And on the bottom right corner...

"Seriously! Are you even trying?" Her brother trash talked her through voice chat.

"You! I'll kick your ass so hard you'll shit out your mouth!" She growled as she respawned, and got spawncamped through the door by her brother, who appeared on her screen jumping to her corpse, and shooting it some more.

Angry, she went to his room and raped him.
