The Heroic Warrior Urashima Taro

Cast -
Urashima Taro: Renjakuno Hatsumi
Turtle: Toneri Nikako
Princess Otohime: Karasumori Daikoku

Act 1 -
Urashima Taro, who was famous for his strength, came across a turtle that was being bullied by villagers on the beach and was in a difficult situation.

"I can't just let someone who can't defend themselves be messed around with like that."

Urashima Taro, who hated injustice, gave the villagers a good beating and rescued the badly injured turtle. In return for his help, the turtle invited Urashima to the palace at the bottom of the sea, called the 'Palace of the Dragon King', and said he would like to entertain him.

Urashima Taro felt that it was a trick, but he couldn’t refuse the turtle's kind offer, so he decided to go. However, in the glittering palace, far removed from the world of humans, an unfathomable malice was swirling...!

Act 2 -
Urashima Taro was invited to the 'Palace of the Dragon King' on the ocean floor, where he met a beautiful princess who introduced herself as Otohime, the princess who ruled the palace.

In order to show her gratitude, Otohime brought a sumptuous meal before Taro, and as entertainment for the banquet, she had fish dance and pour sake for them.

She then opened a door to a room called the 'Room of Time', and guided Urashima Taro to a room where the four seasons passed, and treated him with great hospitality.

Urashima Taro was surprised by the hospitality he received in the mysterious palace, and enjoyed himself.

He had planned to return to land that same day, but the Princess asked him to stay. When he refused, she cried, and Urashima Taro, was troubled, and grabbed the turtle he rescued on the beach and asks him how to get back.

The turtle was acting strangely, and after hesitating for a while, it tried to secretly tell Urashima Taro the truth about the Palace of the Dragon King...

Act 3 -
When Urashima asked, he was told that the palace was a trick, that the gorgeous palace and food were all an illusion, and the Princess steals all the time of her guests and they all die of old age without realising it. The turtle was reluctantly ordered by the Princess to bring a human being, and so he brought Urashima Taro.

The turtle, prepared to be reprimanded, tried to send Urashima Taro back to the surface, but Urashima Taro thought that if he went back like that, there would be new victims, and he questioned the princess about the truth.

Then, Otohime transformed her body into a frightening monster, while leaving her beautiful face intact.

Urashima Taro confronted her, holding the wooden sword he had been carrying at his waist. However, the princess's minions were closing in behind him…

"This is my first time fighting a monster, but I won't lose a fight. Come at me all at once!"

As Otohime's minions surged forward, Urashima Taro put up a fierce fight with just his wooden sword.

Act 4 -
Despite being outnumbered and covered in wounds, Urashima Taro shook off his attackers and ran as fast as he could to reach the princess.

"You trick people into doing bad things to the weak! I’ll beat your twisted nature into shape!”

He was at the mercy of the Princess, who had turned into a monster and was using multiple legs, but when the turtle he rescued on the beach rushed to the scene, he spat sand in the princess's eyes, blinding her.

Taking advantage of this, Urashima Taro was able to cut down the princess with his wooden sword and beat her to a pulp.

When the minions realised that the fight was over, they were stunned and fled. When Urashima Taro thanked the turtle for saving him, the turtle told him that it had been painful to deceive people for so long, and took him back to land.

Urashima Taro returned home safely. The turtle, now free of his ties, returned to the sea in a relieved mood, and Urashima Taro was remembered as a hero who had saved the turtle from Princess Otohime's control.

Aftertalk -
Toneri Nikako
Ren-san, you gave a passionate performance today too.

Karasumori Daikoku
A being that helps the weak and defeats the strong... heh heh...just like my Master.

Karasumori Daikoku
She's so noble and beautiful, I'm captivated by her...I don't mind being defeated. In fact, I want to be defeated.

Renjakuno Hatsumi
Thank you, Nikako. And Daikoku, your princess was good too. Just as I expected from an actor I have high hopes for.

Karasumori Daikoku
Aah...! I'm dizzy with joy.

Renjakuno Hatsumi
Whoa. Can you stand on your own, Daikoku? If you're not feeling well, I’ll carry you somewhere to rest.

Karasumori Daikoku
I’m okay, My lord. Or rather, you're so close... My heart is racing from all the skin contact…

Renjakuno Hatsumi
You're so thin. You're attractive, but I'm a little worried about your health. Next time, I'll take you out for a nice meal.

Yorozu Iruru
Hatsumi, you're hugging her so casually.

Toneri Nikako
I didn't expect Ren-san to be so good at looking after the Eden members.

Renjakuno Hatsumi
I'm the oldest, and I'm the leader of this theatre troupe. I think it's my duty to look after those who follow me. Are you tired, Nikako? I'll give you a shoulder rub later.

Toneri Nikako
Eh…!? Is that okay?

Yorozu Iruru
Nikako, it's probably not just going to be your shoulders!
