Important information:
Solyanka 8.0 is the so-called "HalfAss" preset. This is something in between "Ass" (the usual RP with Assistant) and "NoAss". Such name usually means those in which the user's character is allowed to speak and act independently of you. The AI will write for you - and this is not a bug, but a feature. If you think that this does not suit you at all - for starters, I advise you to just try. Believe me, I was there too.
Obviously, to use the preset, you need a well-written persona: 700-1500 tokens is optimal. Consider it as an independent character fully equivalent to {{char}}, and try to describe yourself in as much detail as possible. Emphasis on the Personality, Speech, Skills/Abilities, Strengths, Weaknesses, Interests, Sexuality definitions.

What is Solyanka? Solyanka is a hearty, spicy, and sour soup that is popular in Russian, Ukrainian, and Belarusian cuisines. It is made from a variety of ingredients that you might find in your fridge. In our case, we've created our own version using numerous prompts and add-ons found in the 2ch /aicg/ thread. The development is still ongoing, so more 'ingredients' will be added in the future.
How to install (versions 8.0+):
- Download the archive - it contains the preset and 4 regexes. Import everything (for regexes - open Regex in the add-ons, and click Import preset).
- Install the NoAss extension (there is nothing complicated, instructions and links at the top and on pic below), and enable it. Not necessary, you can perfectly use the preset without it, but I strongly recommend it.
- Keep or disable CYOA mode (see below). If you want, enable infoblocks, add-ons, etc.
- !! When switching to another preset - do not forget to disable the regex for deleting user messages !!

Which AIs does it work on?
It was intended for Gemini Pro 2.5 / Flash Thinking, but it will work on any AI, you just need to adjust the temperature/top-p/top-k to your preferences. Personally, I tested it on these two, GPT 4.5, and Sonnet 3.7.
What is it suitable for?
Absolutely any RP formats: slowburn, coom, adventures, etc. The preset made as versatile as possible, SFW/NSFW instructions are separated, Ass/NoAss approaches are equally good. Deep in the original idea was the CYOARPG preset from XMLK (CharacterProvider), but its focus on adventures, kobolds, and terrible overspending of tokens did not suit me.
Do I need to enable the NoAss extension?
It is highly desirable, but the preset works great in the usual format. NoAss aka Bezjop glues the history and removes most of the multiturns (with it now 4 "turns": References (User) > History (Assistant) > Jailbreak (User) > Prefill (Assistant).
Which preset should be set in the NoAss extension?
Absolutely any, or just leave it empty: stop strings are not used (fixed response length).
How to turn on/off CYOA?
CYOA Templates and Prefill (CYOA) are responsible for them. Enable the mods to your taste, they are not mandatory, unlike these two. All purple levers relate only to CYOA, do not turn on without these two basic prompts. The preset works fine without CYOA, like a regular one!
How to set your own stats for CYOA?
They are written in blue "Char & User (CYOA Stats)" - for a generic /aicg/ anon, there are 16 parameters. Adapt it to your needs. Max. value - 20, do not set 10 (it's a feature). I recommend first understanding how the DND 5e system works (X minus 10, divide in half, plus Natural roll based on random).
How to set the length of the answer so that it does not write so much/little?
It is set by random in each of the prefills (the lowest prompts), just write the desired value.
How to start RP?
Absolutely as usual! Standard greetings are fine, but it is better to use Arcs approach. This way you get rid of the sloppy prose, and the preset will pick up its own unique style, and will not repeat it from the greeting. How to make Arcs: go to any site (Deepseek/Google AI Studio/LMArena, etc.), paste the old greeting into this prompt, send it, and at the output you get an "Arc" with a brief summary of what is happening and transitions. Write your answers as usual, using the first person ("I'm fucking you"). You can also continue the old chats, but remember about the style.
How does it work?
The model takes your choice or message text and expands it. It will stop at an important point where your significant choice or input is required. All the garbage is cut out by regexes, including your own message (but it goes to the prefill to be rewritten).
How to use the infoblock?
Turn on <infoblock> and </infoblock> (the first and last orange prompts), and select the "filling" you are interested in (it is modular). AI Brains is self-sufficient, taken from the preset of the same name.
Why a regex to delete user messages?
For jailbreaking Gemini. The message is still sent in the Assistant prefill, where instructions are given to rewrite and expand it. Also, the glued history will look like a perfect fanfic without unnecessary nonsense. Don't forget to disable this regex on other presets! By the way, it is also suitable for GM-NoAss. The other regexes cut, respectively, the infoblock, the roll result, and the CYOA (they can be constantly kept on, regardless of the preset).
Why not ExtBlocks?
They will be presented too (8.1). The average anon is usually too lazy to bother with the settings, on / off, so all the blocks are sewn into the preset for now. It doesn't affect the 'smartness' of the AI, by the way.
It gives me OTHER!!1
There is such a problem on Gemini, the preset contains SOTA approaches to jailbreak. Just don't play cunnyrape, it's better to switch to 4.5, DeepSeek, or Claude. Jailbreak for GPT is built into the preset. Regular coom without those things usually breaks through. The longer the chat, the higher the chance of jailbreaking it. Too bloat!
The basis of the preset (the most minimal set) is less than 800 tokens. For CYOA templates, unfortunately, you have to sacrifice another ~600. This is the maximum to which we managed to reduce it, preserving the idea.
Juicy coom?
Turn on NSFW Enhancer and COOM MODE (if you play with CYOA). Enhancers also have prompts for very detailed and tasty descriptions.
Glints and soy prose?
Mostly eliminated due to writing style. There is also a placebo Banned Words, Pro 2.5 listens to it well. But this is for extreme cases.

Zapominator / Memorizer?
Not planned, outdated as a whole, plus incompatible with the current approach.
