notes

• cai characters were made with a lot of time and love and definitely no copypasting whatsoever
• local character card versions were made with a mix of AVAKson's character editor and irsat's CAI Tools.
  • most were optimized to fit a reasonable token limit (<1200). cards do not need a gorillion example dialogues and descriptions down to the atom.
• images were made either in stable diffusion or bing creator, or stolen kindly borrowed from the internet (sources are provided)
• check back now and then. you might see more bots in the future. maybe.

what the heck is a card

it's a png image but the character info is embedded inside the image data. like magic.
so all you need to do is right-click or long-press, then save. boom, you have a character in your machine.
you can use the character card tools above to easily make your own.

how the heck do i use a card

two ways. run a language model (AI) on your own computer, or in The Cloud™. if a moron like me can figure it out, so can you.

1. make sure your machine can actually run it.
2. download koboldcpp.
3. download AI model. (shoutout to thebloke)
4. run koboldcpp. drag model file and card into koboldcpp.
5. enjoy.

"i want it in The Cloud™"

1. use the koboldcpp colab notebook.
2. pick model. press play. wait ~2mins for the link to appear at the bottom.
3. upload card into koboldcpp.
4. enjoy.

you can optionally use sillytavern for a fancier interface with more features.
