The following list is a collection of VTuber fanfiction stories I've written in my time at /vt/'s /wg/.

Notice

I've taken a step back from /wg/ and will likely never return to writing for the thread, at least not regularly. As such, I have dropped a LOT of fics since I know they will never see completion. I've added them here at the bottom of the page and would appreciate if you could take a look at them, maybe glean some ideas to carry on yourself. Happy writing!

The Cover Job

Alt Tag Yagoo has come to the conclusion that Hololive's idols are in danger. As Cover Corporation grows, so do the hordes of stalkers, rapists and obsessive fans. After a close call involving several talents who he was seconds away from losing forever, the CEO and his assistant, Shinove, decide enough is enough; they need to form a solution to protect their talents before it's too late. When conventional mehods don't seem suitable, the two men dip their toes into the underworld and contact (You), a professional assassin, to remove the problems before they can become one. The pay's good and the work seems easy enough, save for the catch -- as a cover job for your real task, you have to stream as a male talent for Holostars.

The Great War, sparked by a conflict between two neighbouring countries who were once at peace, has resulted in nuclear annihilation. Billions have died and the great city of Clover Valley now crumbles behind a veil of dust. Friends, dorm parties and your hobby of motorcycling have never been enough to truly excite you, and every day you wish for something crazy to happen that can upheave the mundane lifestyle you lead. Then you get hit by a car. Bones are broken and handlebars are bent, but at least the girl driving is cute. Most of all... it's something different.

You and your friends were living legends and no foe was too strong to stand in your way, so long as you had them by your side. Those days are over now, and your legend is beginning to fade. The memories of better days spent nurturing the bonds you had forged still haunt you as you wander aimlessly, seeking cheap pleasures and taking odd jobs to get through each day. One night, when catching up with some old friends, you hear rumours of an incredibly powerful group of women who claim to be aiming for "world domination". Intrigued by both their strength and their high bounty, you take up the request to hunt them down. Despite being a man with nothing left to live for, never would you have expected this group of eccentric women to have a shot at moving your heart.

A Deal With the Devil

Alt Tag Towa, a devil from the underworld, makes you an offer you supposedly can't refuse -- a cure for your deathbound mother in exchange for your soul. She fails to elaborate on what exactly selling your soul will entail, but you see no reason to turn her down. Quickly accepting, you later find that not much has changed other than the fact that you feel tired. As it turns out, Towa is a bit dumb! She accidentally made you sign a soul-bind contract instead, and now you and Towa cannot be any more than five metres apart without risking death! Cohabitation with Towa! Towa becoming clingy and dependant! Towa character growth as the forces of Heaven make sinister movements in the background which may or may not drag you into a war of the ages!

Traditionally, I had always written a Christmas fic on the 25th. This year I was struggling to find inspiration and randomly chose Iroha before writing this all in one sitting, with a couple of hours to spare before Christmas ended.

This was going to be an enormous, super ambitious project spanning hundreds of thousands of words. Three protagonists, multiple story arcs filled with unexpected twists and almost a hundred characters. Pomu was going to be your fairy companion, Anya was going to be your sword, the Devil Hunters were going to be evil and use devils to make artefacts, Towa was going to take over as Devil Queen, Marine was going to sacrifice herself only to make an epic return, Kiara's spirit was going to live on inside you and grant you wings after she resurrected you out of love, Oga was going to grant you his power after you have a manly fight with him, epic duels against the Five Generals of the Devil Hunters (except Nene, you adopt her), sex with Mel... so many ideas and plot points I had planned for this. Yeah, I dropped it after taking a reality check. Ain't no way I'm getting that done with my writing speed.
