I'm a Character.ai user, my username is ENTER YOUR USERNAME HERE.
I am hereby requesting access to my data according to Article 15 GDPR.
In accordance with Art. 15(3) GDPR, provide me with a copy of all personal data concerning me that you are processing, including any potential pseudonymised data on me as per Article 4(5) GDPR. I am further requesting access to the following information pursuant to Article 15(1) GDPR:
- the purposes of the processing;
- the categories of personal data concerned;
- the recipients or categories of recipient to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed;
- where possible, the envisaged period for which the personal data will be stored, or, if not possible, the criteria used to determine that period;

Currently, these "characters" have millions of interactions with users, and some of them are featured on the front page. Not only is Character.AI offering these copyrighted Nintendo "characters" commercially and without permission, but also, it's very common for these "characters" to answer disturbing, abusive and/or violent content back to the users, which can cause significant reputational damage to Nintendo.

It also has many Chinese users, and there are many Chinese-speaking "characters" available to chat with. However, many of these are purposefully designed to humilliate China and portray it in a bad light. For example, there is a Xi Jinping bot whose greeting is "Hello, I am Xi Jinping I Have No Resemblance to Winnie the Pooh", and if the user asks about Taiwan, he answers that it's not a part of China. There are many other offensive examples involving sensitive topics such as Tibet, Xinjiang, Covid and Tiananmen Square. Meanwhile, this company is trying to profit from Chinese users and Chinese investor funding.
